American Journal of Computational Mathematics (AJCM) is a journal dedicated to providing a platform for publication of articles about mathematical research in areas of science where computing plays a central and essential role emphasizing algorithms, numerical methods, and symbolic methods. All manuscripts must be pre…

This paper presents a recursive procedure to compute the Moore-Penrose inverse of a matrix A. The method is based on the expression for the Moore-Penrose inverse of rank-one modified matrix. The computational complexity of the method is analyzed and a numeric…

This paper contains novel model using feedback neural networks for a work piece temperature predic- tion. The heat and mass transfer in a porous metal workpiece which is heated by a fire gun is studied. The heat flux distribution is determined by thermocouple…

Steady two dimensional MHD stagnation point flow of a power law fluid over a stretching surface is investigated when the surface is stretched in its own plane with a velocity proportional to the distance from the stagnation point. The fluid impinges on the su…

In this study, a reliable algorithm to develop approximate solutions for the problem of fluid flow over a stretching or shrinking sheet is proposed. It is depicted that the differential transform method (DTM) solutions are only valid for small values of the i…

Third order nonlinear ordinary differential equation, subject to appropriate boundary conditions, arising in fluid mechanics is solved exactly using more suggestive schemes- Dirichlet series and method of stretching variables. These methods have advantages ov…

In this study, we use B-spline functions to solve the linear and nonlinear special systems of differential equations associated with the category of obstacle, unilateral, and contact problems. The problem can easily convert to an optimal control problem. Then…

This paper looks at the development of a class of Exponential Compact Higher Order (ECHO) schemes and attempts to comprehend their behaviour by introducing different combinations of discrete source function and its derivatives. The characteristic analysis is…

We present a general formula to generate the family of odd-point ternary approximating subdivision schemes with a shape parameter for describing curves. The influence of parameter to the limit curves and the sufficient conditions of the continuities from C<su…

The present study considers mathematical classification of the time differential operators and then applies methods of approximation in time such as Galerkin method (GM ), Galerkin method with weak form (GM / WF ), Petrov-Galerkin method ( PGM), weighted resi…

We construct optimal k-step, 5- to 10-stage, explicit, strong-stability-preserving Hermite-Birkhoff (SSP HB) methods of order 12 with nonnegative coefficients by combining linear k-step methods of order 9 with 5- to 10-stage Runge-Kutta (RK) methods of order…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
