American Journal of Computational Mathematics (AJCM) is a journal dedicated to providing a platform for publication of articles about mathematical research in areas of science where computing plays a central and essential role emphasizing algorithms, numerical methods, and symbolic methods. All manuscripts must be pre…

A power tool for the analysis of quasi-Newton methods has been proposed by Byrd and Nocedal ([1], 1989). The purpose of this paper is to make a study to the basic property (BP) given in [1]. As a result of the BP, a sufficient condition of global convergence…

A direct almost Bernstein operational matrix of integration is used to propose a stable algorithm for numerical inversion of the generalized Abel integral equation. The applicability of the earlier proposed methods was restricted to the numerical inversion of…

In this work, the (G,/G)- --expansion method is proposed for constructing more general exact solutions of the (2 + 1)--dimensional Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (KP) equation and its generalized forms. Our work is motivated by the fact that the (G,</…

Matrix methods, now-a-days, are playing an important role in solving the real life problems governed by ODEs and/or by PDEs. Many differential models of sciences and engineers for which the existing methodologies do not give reliable results, these methods ar…

The geometric and biomechanical properties of the larynx strongly influence voice quality and efficiency. A physical understanding of phonation natures in pathological conditions is important for predictions of how voice disorders can be treated using therapy…

We consider risk minimization problems for Markov decision processes. From a standpoint of making the risk of random reward variable at each time as small as possible, a risk measure is introduced using conditional value-at-risk for random immediate reward va…

Objective of our paper is to present the Haar wavelet based solutions of boundary value problems by Haar collocation method and utilizing Quasilinearization technique to resolve quadratic nonlinearity in y. More accurate solutions are obtained by wavelet deco…

In this article a new approach is considered for implementing operator splitting methods for transport problems, influenced by electric fields. Our motivation came to model PE-CVD (plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition) processes, means the flow of specie…

Non-standard backward heat conduction problem is ill-posed in the sense that the solution(if it exists) does not depend continuously on the data. In this paper, we propose a regularization strategy-quasi-reversibility method to analysis the stability of the p…

A fourth order finite-difference scheme in a two-time level recurrence relation is proposed for the numerical solution of the generalized Burgers--Huxley equation. The resulting nonlinear system, which is analysed for stability, is solved using an improved pr…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
