American Journal of Operations Research (AJOR) is an international scientific journal dedicated to the publication and public discussion of high quality, original papers that contribute to the methodology of operational research and to the practice of decision making. AJOR contains the following types of papers: (1)In…

In this paper, we generalize H(.,.) accretive operator introduced by Zou and Huang [1] and we call it H(.,.)- φ - η - accretive operator. We define the resolvent operator associated with H(.,.)- φ - η - accretive operator and prove its Lipschitz…

This study addresses bilevel linear multi-objective problem issues i.e the special case of bilevel linear programming problems where each decision maker has several objective functions conflicting with each other. We introduce an artificial multi-objective li…

Many Optimization problems in engineering and economic involve the challenging task of pondering both conflicting goals and random data. In this paper, we give an up-to-date overview of how important ideas from optimization, probability theory and multicriter…

Aim of this paper is to characterize different risk measures in portfolio construction on seven Central and South-East European stock markets; Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Chez Republic, Bulgaria and Romania. Selected countries are members of EU, excep…

This paper deals with the optimality conditions and dual theory of multi-objective programming problems involving generalized convexity. New classes of generalized type-I functions are introduced for arcwise connected functions, and examples are given to show…

In this paper, we propose a novel approach for Fuzzy random-valued Optimization. The main idea behind our approach consists of taking advantage of interplays between fuzzy random variables and random sets in a way to get an equivalent stochastic program. This…

We propose an exact penalty approach for solving mixed integer nonlinear programming (MINLP) problems by converting a general MINLP problem to a finite sequence of nonlinear programming (NLP) problems with only continuous variables. We express conditions of e…

In this paper, using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), we have measured the technical efficiency of cricket teams in the Indian Premier League. Taking the data for the 2009 season, the input used by the teams is approached by the total expenses which inclu…

In this paper we discuss how to measure the component importance for a system in its signature representation. The definition is given in terms of compensator transform and it can be considered as a new formalization of the ideas presented by Bergman [1] in t…

Radiation therapy plans are optimized as a single treatment plan, but delivered over 30 - 50 treatment sessions (known as fractions). This paper proposes a new mixed-integer linear programming model to simultaneously incorporate fractionation and cumulative c…

AJOR contains the following types of papers: (1)In… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
