We start with analyzing stochastic dependence in a classic bivariate normal density framework. We focus on the way the conditional density of one of the random variables depends on realizations of the other. In the bivariate normal case this dependence takes…

Let G be a non-abelian group and let l 2 (G) be a finite dimensional Hilbert space of all complex valued functions for which the elements of G form the (standard) orthonormal basis. In our paper we prove results concerning G -decorrelated decompositions of fu…

A type of Inconsistent Mathematics structured on Paraconsistent Logic (PL) and that has, as the main purpose, the study of common mathematical objects such as sets, numbers and functions, where some contradictions are allowed, is called Paraconsistent Mathema…

While there are many published data on the average properties of elasticity for metals, there is little on the expected randomness. This is despite the known randomness of the elasticity of the grains that make up metals. It seems implicitly assumed that due…

This work presents a new methodology based on Linear Programming (LP) to tune Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) control parameters. From a specification of a desired output time domain of the plant, a linear optimization system is proposed to adjust the…

In this paper, mathematical modeling of the propagation of torsional surface waves in a transverse isotropic elastic medium with varying rigidity and density under a rigid layer has been considered. The equation of motion has been formulated in the elastic me…

Bayesian inference method has been presented in this paper for the modeling of operational risk. Bank internal and external data are divided into defined loss cells and then fitted into probability distributions. The distribution parameters and their uncertai…

In this paper, a powerful analytical method, called He’s homotopy perturbation method is applied to obtaining the approximate periodic solutions for some nonlinear differential equations in mathematical physics via Van der Pol damped non-linear oscillators an…

This paper is concerned with the existence of traveling wave solutions in a reaction-diffusion predator-prey system with Beddington-DeAngelis functional response and a discrete time delay. By introducing a partial quasi-monotonicity condition and constructing…

Nitrate (NO 3 ) leaching is a major issue in sandy soils intensively cropped to potato. Modelling could test the effect of management practices on nitrate leaching, particularly with regard to optimal N application rates. The NO 3 concentration in the soil so…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
