A SEI model for hepatitis B is constructed where the susceptibility and other crucial transmission probabilities depend on the chronological age and the basic reproduction rate R 0 is derived. Under suitable (biological and mathematical) assumptions in a clos…

Optimal boundary control of semilinear parabolic equations requires efficient solution methods in applications. Solution methods bypass the nonlinearity in different approaches. One approach can be quasilinearization (QL) but its applicability is locally in t…

Project scheduling problem is mainly to determine the schedule of allocating resources in order to balance the total cost and the completion time. This paper chiefly uses chance theory to introduce project scheduling problem with uncertain variables. First, t…

In this work, we presented a new law which was based on the well-known duality property for the set identities. We introduced the diagrams that could be applied to the proof for the set identities. Some prime examples were also provided to illustrate the prop…

Let be a n-dimensional row vector space over a finite field For , let be a d - dimensional subspace of . denotes the set of all the spaces which are the subspaces of and not the subspaces of except . We define the partial order on by ordinary inclusion (resp.…

Nonlinear approximation is widely used in signal processing. Real-life signals can be modeled as functions of bounded variation. Thus the variable knot of approximating function could be self- adaptively chosen by balancing the total variation of the target f…

A selection of a number of geophysical methods to solve different geological, geodynamical, environmental, archaeological and other problems usually has no theoretical substantiation. The solution to this “four color” mathematical problem is able to assume th…

In life insurance business, longevity risk, i.e. the risk that the insured population lives longer than the expected, represents the heart of the risk assessment, having significant impact in terms of solvency capital requirements (SCRs) needed to front the f…

A target is assumed to move randomly on one of two disjoint lines L 1 and L 2 according to a stochastic process . We have two searchers start looking for the lost target from some points on the two lines separately. Each of the searchers moves continuously al…

Proposed here is a new framework for the analysis of complex systems as a non-explicitly programmed mathematical hierarchy of subsystems using only the fundamental principle of causality, the mathematics of groupoid symmetries, and a basic causal metric neede…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
