Applied Mathematics (AM) is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancements in applied mathematics. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of applied mathema…
Stanislas Ouaro, Ali Traoré
In this paper , deterministic and stochastic models for schistosomiasis involving four sub-populations are developed. Conditions are given under which system exhibits thresholds behavior. The disease-free equilibrium is globally asymp totically stable if R 0…
Elisée Gouba, Balira Ousmane Konfe, Ousseynou Nakoulima, Blaise Some, Olivier Hue
This study sought to determine the best method to quantify training based on heart rate data. It proposes a modification of Banister’s original performance model to improve the accuracy of predicted performance. The new formulation in troduces a variable that…
Qixin Ye, Jinge Zhou
This paper gives the concepts of extension error set and fuzzy extension error set, discusses diverse extension error set and fuzzy extension error set based on extension set and error set, and puts forward the relevant propositions and opera tions. Finally,…

We study the evolution of a gynodioecious species under mixed-mating through a nucleocytoplasmic male sterility model. We consider two cytoplasmic types and a nuclear locus with two alleles. Here, the interaction between one cy toplasmic type and a recessive…
Guochun Wen, Dechang Chen
This paper mainly concerns oblique derivative problems for nonlinear nondivergent elliptic equations of second order with measurable coefficients in a multiply connected domain. Under certain condition, we derive a priori estimates of solutions. By using thes…
Ali Davari, Abozar Ahmadi
In this paper we present a proposal using Legendre polynomials approximation for the solution of the second order lin ear partial differential equations . Our approach consists of reducing the problem to a set of linear equations by expand ing the approximate…
Benjamin Oyediran Oyelami, Samson Olatunji Ale
In this paper we explore the possibility of using the scientific computing method to obtain the inverse B-Transform of Oyelami and Ale [1]. Using some suitable conditions and the symbolic programming method in Maple 15 we obtained the asymptotic expansion for…

In this article I describe a randomized algorithm based on random walks with two absorbing barriers that solves the sat isfiability problem (known to be NP complete) with arbitrary high probability. As a consequence of this algorithm, I also prove that the RS…

A permutation test (based on a finite random sample of permutations) for unit root in an autoregressive process is con sidered. The test can easily be carried out in practice and the proposed permutation test is neither limited to large sample sizes nor norma…

For a correspondence in question we establish a sequence of fundamental geometrical objects of the correspondence and find invariant normalizations of the first and second orders of all hupersurfaces under the correspondence. We sin gle out main tensors of th…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
