Let G=( V,E ) be a graph. If φ is a function from the vertex set V(G) to the set of positive integers. Then two vertices u, v ∈ V ( G ) are φ -equitable if| φ (u)- φ (v)|≤1.By the degree, equitable adjacency between vertices can be redefine almost all of the…

Based on the empirical or theoretical qualitative information about the relationship between response variable and covariates, we propose a new approach to model polynomial regression using a shape restricted regression after estimating the direction by suffi…

The effects of electric field and non-uniform basic temperature gradient on the onset of Rayleigh-Bénard-Marangoni convection in a micropolar fluid are studied using the Galerkin technique. The eigenvalues are obtained for an upper free/adiabatic and lower ri…

In recent years, hydrogels have been introduced as new materials suitable for applications in areas such as biomedical engineering, agriculture, etc. The rate and degree of hydrogel swelling are important parameters that control the diffusion of drugs or solv…

We extend a recently proposed Quantum Field Theory (QFT) approach to the Lifshitz formula, originally implemented for a real scalar field, to the case of a fluctuating vacuum Electromagnetic (EM) field, coupled to two flat, parallel mirrors. The general resul…

In this work, the Lagrangean Relaxation method has been discussed to solve different sizes of capacitated facility location problem (CFLP). A good lower bound has been achieved on the solution of the CFLP considered in this paper. This lower bound has been im…

Numerical solutions are obtained for non-steady, incompressible fluid flow between two parallel disks which at time t are separated by a distance H (1-αt) 1/2 and a magnetic field proportional to B 0 (1-αt) -1/2 is applied perpendicular to the disks where H d…

The purpose of this paper is to find the invariant solutions of the reduction of the Navier-Stokes equations where s=z/y ((U yy (t,s,y)-U t (t,s,y))y-2sU sy (t,s,y))y+(s 2 +1)U ss (t,s,y)+2sU s =0 This equation is constructed from the Navier-Stokes equations…

In this paper, we consider the two-sided first exit problem for jump diffusion processes having jumps with rational Laplace transforms. We investigate the probabilistic property of conditional memorylessness, and drive the joint distribution of the first exit…

In this paper we study one-dimensional Fisher-Kolmogorov equation with density dependent non-linear diffusion. We choose the diffusion as a function of cell density such that it is high in highly cell populated areas and it is small in the regions of fewer ce…

Applied Mathematics (AM) is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancements in applied mathematics. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of applied mathema… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
