Let stand for the polar coordinates in R 2 , be a given constant while satisfies the Laplace equation in the wedge-shaped domain or . Here α j ( j = 1,2,..., n + 1) denote certain angles such that α j < α j ( j = 1,2,..., n + 1). It is known that if r = a sat…

For the three-body problem, we consider the Lagrange stability. To analyze the stability, along with integrals of energy and angular momentum, we use relations by the author from [1], which band together separately squared mutual distances between bodies (mas…

In this paper, a two-parameter Lindley distribution, of which the one parameter Lindley distribution (LD) is a particular case, for modeling waiting and survival times data has been introduced. Its moments, failure rate function, mean residual life function,…

The input-output pollution control model given in [1] is generalized. The generalization makes it easier for the model to handle many problem instances. A linear program is used to solve the new model. An example is given to show that the new model can handle…

It is well known that a supercritical single-type Bienayme-Galton-Watson process can be viewed as a decomposable branching process formed by two subtypes of particles: those having infinite line of descent and those who have finite number of descendants. In t…

Tian and Meng in [Y. Tian and J. Meng, λ c -Optimally half vertex transitive graphs with regularity k , Information Processing Letters 109 (2009) 683 - 686] shown that a connected half vertex transitive graph with regularity k and girth g ( G ) ≥ 6 is cyclica…

In this paper, we prove that the combined homotopy interior point method for a multiobjective programming problem introduced in Ref. [1] remains valid under a weaker constrained qualification—the Mangasarian-Fromovitz constrained qualification, instead of lin…

In this paper we show that we can have the same conclusion for the limit of the solution if we suppose the case of hypoellipticity.

In this paper, analysis of post - treatment of wire coating is presented. Coating material satisfies power law fluid model. Exact solutions for the velocity field, volume flow rate and average velocity are obtained. Moreover, the heat transfer results are pre…
