In this article we analyze the motion of a test particle of a planar, circular, restricted three-body problem in resonance, using the Kustaanheimo-Stiefel formalism. We show that a good qualitative description of the motion can be reduced to three simple equa…

We analyze the behaviour of TE, TM electromagnetic fields in a toroidal space through Maxwell and wave equations. Their solutions are discussed in a space endowed with a refractive index making separable the wave equations.

In order to take into account the uncertainties linked to the variables in the evaluation of the statistical properties of structural response, a reliability approach with probabilistic aspect was considered. This is called the Probabilistic Transformation Me…

This paper is to extend the Poincar ’ e Lemma for differential forms in a bounded, convex domain [1] in R n to a more general domain that, we call, is deformable to every point in itself. Then we extend the homotopy operator T in [1] to the domain defromed to…

A new modification of the Homotopy Analysis Method (HAM) is presented for highly nonlinear ODEs on a semi-infinite domain. The main advantage of the modified HAM is that the number of terms in the series solution can be greatly reduced; meanwhile the accuracy…

In this paper, the Galerkin projection method is used for solving the semi Sylvester equation. Firstly the semi Sylvester equation is reduced to the multiple linear systems. To apply the Galerkin projection method, some propositions are presented. The present…

In this paper, we introduce the notion of αδ - US spaces. Also we study the concepts of αδ -convergence, sequentially αδ -compactness, sequentially αδ -continunity and sequentially αδ - sub-continuity and derive some of their properties.

We study the connection between the central limit theorem and law of large numbers for exchangeable sequences, and provide a counterexample to the Gnedenko-Raikov theorem for such sequences.

Let Q be the Q -matrix of an irreducible, positive recurrent Markov process on a countable state space. We show that, under a number of conditions, the stationary distributions of the n × n north-west corner augmentations of Q converge in total variation to t…

In this paper, we introduce tail dependene measures for collateral losses from catastrophic events. To calculate these measures, we use bivariate compound process where a Cox process with shot noise intensity is used to count collateral losses. A homogeneous…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
