Kalman filtering (KF) is a popular form of data assimilation, especially in real-time applications. It combines observations with an equation that describes the dynamic evolution of a system to produce an estimate of its present-time state. Although KF does n…

In this paper, before the implementation of ecological laboratory experiments, the population interaction dynamics of an algae-fish system were studied mathematically and numerically. The purpose of this study was to explore how filter-feeding fish population…

A simple recursive algorithm to generate the set of natural numbers, based on Mersenne numbers: M N = 2 N – 1, is used to count the number of prime numbers within the precise Mersenne natural number intervals: [0; M N ]. This permits the formulation of an ext…

Consider X and Y are two real or complex Banach spaces. We introduce and study a modified Gauss-type proximal point algorithm (in short modified G-PPA) for solving the generalized equations of the form 0 ∈ h ( x ) + H ( x ), where h : X → Y is a smooth…

In order to obtain with simplicity the known and new properties of linear canonical transformations (LCTs), we show that any relation between a couple of operators ( A , B ) having commutator identical to unity, called dual couple in this work, is valuable fo…

With the help of today’s computers, it is always relatively easy to find maximum-likelihood estimators of one or more parameters of any specific statistical distribution, and use these to construct the corresponding approximate confidence interval/region, fac…

In this paper, we derive non-classical continuum theory for physics of compressible and incompressible thermoviscous non-classical fluent continua using the conservation and balance laws (CBL) by incorporating additional physics of internal rotation rates ari…

This article is concerned with a strongly coupled elliptic system modeling the steady state of two or more populations that compete in some regions. We prove the uniqueness of the limiting configuration as the competing rate tends to infinity, under suitable…

This paper examines the performance of five algorithms for numerically inverting the Laplace transform, in standard, 16-digit and multi-precision environments. The algorithms are taken from three of the four main classes of numerical methods used to invert th…

This paper investigates the fine structure of the Gabor frame generated by the B-spline B 3 . In other words, one extends the known part of the Gabor frame set for the 3-spline with the construction of the compactly supported dual windows. The frame set of th…

The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of applied mathema… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
