In recent years, dynamical systems which are conjugate to their squares have been studied in ergodic theory. In this paper we study the consequences of groups having elements which are conjugate to their squares and consider examples arising from topological…

The equilibrium equations of anisotropic media, coupled to the heat conduction equations, are studied here based on the standard spaces of the physical presentation, in which an new thermo-elastic model based on the second law of thermodynamics is induced. Th…

One new solving expression is built for Nizhnik-Novikov-Veselov system in the paper. Through corresponding auxiliary equation arrangement, more than 150 analytical solutions of elementary and Jacobi elliptic functions are obtained so that the NNV system has a…

The stability of thermohaline convection problems of Veronis and Stern types for stationary convection is studied for quite general nature of boundaries. It is shown by means of an appropriately chosen linear transformation, that in case of stationary convect…

Two new regularization algorithms for solving the first-kind Volterra integral equation, which describes the pressure-rate deconvolution problem in well test data interpretation, are developed in this paper. The main features of the problem are the strong non…

We give digital analogues of classical theorems of topology for continuous functions defined on spheres, for digital simple closed curves. In particular, we show the following. ? A digital simple closed curve of more than 4 points is not contractible, i.e., i…

In this paper, we present the construction of purely algebraic Daubechies wavelet based preconditioners for Krylov subspace iterative methods to solve linear sparse system of equations. Effective preconditioners are designed with DWTPerMod algorithm by knowin…

The (2,1)-total labeling number of a graph is the width of the smallest range of integers that suffices to label the vertices and the edges of such that no two adjacent vertices have the same label, no two adjacent edges have the same label and the difference…

In this paper, effect of thermal gradient on vibration of trapezoidal plate of varying thickness is studied. Thermal effect and thickness variation is taken as linearly in x-direction. Rayleigh Ritz technique is used to calculate the fundamental frequencies.…

We prove the existence of a ground state solution for the qusilinear elliptic equation in , under suitable conditions on a locally Holder continuous non-linearity , the non-linearity may exhibit a singularity as . We also prove the non-existence of radially s…
