Applied Mathematics (AM) is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancements in applied mathematics. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of applied mathema…
Jonathan Jordan, Richard Southwell
Many real world networks grow because their elements get replicated. Previously Southwell and Cannings introduced a class of models within which networks change because the vertices within them reproduce. This happens deterministically so each vertex simultan…
Richard Southwell, Chris Cannings
Many real world networks change over time. This may arise due to individuals joining or leaving the network or due to links forming or being broken. These events may arise because of interactions between the vertices which occasion payoffs which subsequently…

The analysis presented here is to study the effect of non-homogeneity on thermally induced vibration of orthotropic visco-elastic rectangular plate of linearly varying thickness. Thermal vibrational behavior of non-homogeneous rectangular plates of variable t…

Airline crew rostering is the assignment problem of crew members to planned rotations/pairings for certain month. Airline companies have the monthly task of constructing personalized monthly schedules (roster) for crew members. This problem became more comple…

Mersenne primes are a special kind of primes, which are always an important content in number theory. The study of Mersenne primes becomes one of hot topics of the nowadays science. It has not settled that whether there exist infinite Mersenne primes. And sev…

The Gardner equation with a variable-coefficient from fluid dynamics and plasma physics is investigated. Different kinds of solutions including breather-type soliton and two soliton solutions are obtained using bilinear method and extended homoclinic test app…

A difficult but important problem in optimal control theory is the design of an optimal feedback control, i.e., the design of an optimal control as function of the phase (state) coordinates [1,2]. This problem can be solved not often. We study here the autono…

In this paper, the existence and nonexistence of nonnegative entire large solutions for the quasilinear elliptic equation are established, where , and are nondecreasing and vanish at the origin. The locally H lder continuous functions and are nonnegative. We…

In this paper a new method based on neural network has been developed for obtaining the solution of the Stokes problem. We transform the mixed Stokes problem into three independent Poisson problems which by solving them the solution of the Stokes problem is o…

In this paper we prove the analyticity of the semigroups generated by some singular differential matrix operators of the form in the Banach space with suitable boundary conditions. To illustrate the work an example is discussed.
