In this paper, we develop a mathematical model of the COVID-19 pandemic in Burkina Faso. We use real data from Burkina Faso National Health Commission against COVID-19 to predict the dynamic of the disease and also the cumulative number of reported cases. We…

In this paper, we prove when these x ∈ l 2 with , they have the common δ for strongly ball proximinal. By using this property, we can prove the strong ball proximinality of l ∞ ( l 2 ). Also, we show that equable subspace Y of a Banach space X is actually uni…

We present the results obtained concerning the classification of symmetry reduction of the (1 + 3)-dimensional inhomogeneous Monge-Ampère equation to first-order ODEs. Some classes of the invariant solutions are constructed.

In dielectrics and semiconductors, a plasma model of the generation and slip of dislocations is considered, where under shock loads in a generalized space of rectangular pulses an alternating field forms a distribution of pairs of photoelectrons and cations;…

The purpose of this paper is to broaden the knowledge of mean difference and, in particular, of an important distribution model known as truncated normal distribution, which is widely used in applied sciences and economics. In this work, we obtained the gener…

In this paper, we are going to derive four numerical methods for solving the Modified Kortweg-de Vries (MKdV) equation using fourth Pade approximation for space direction and Crank Nicolson in the time direction. Two nonlinear schemes and two linearized schem…
Aleksandr Karelin, Anna Tarasenko
Following the classical definition of factorization of matrix-functions, we introduce a definition of factorization for functional operators with involutive rotation on the unit circle. Partial indices are defined and their uniqueness is proven. In previous w…

The connective tissue fiber system and the surfactant system are essential and interdependent components of lung elasticity. Despite considerable efforts over the last decades, we are still far from understanding the quantitative roles of either the connectiv…

In this article, two numerical techniques, namely, the homotopy perturbation and the matrix approach methods have been proposed and implemented to obtain an approximate solution of the linear fractional differential equation. To test the effectiveness of thes…

This paper outlines the vibrational motion of a nonlinear system with a spring of linear stiffness. Homotopy perturbation technique (HPT) is used to obtain the asymptotic solution of the governing equation of motion. The numerical solution of this equation is…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
