One of the most complex questions in quantitative biology is how to manage noise sources and the subsequent consequences for cell functions. Noise in genetic networks is inevitable, as chemical reactions are probabilistic and often, genes, mRNAs and proteins…

In this paper, we mainly study the uniqueness of specific q-shift difference polynomials and of meromorphic functions, which share a common small function and get the corresponding results. In addition, we also investigate the problem of value distribution on…

This research paper represents a numerical approximation to three interesting equations of Fisher, which are linear, non-linear and coupled linear one dimensional reaction diffusion equations from population genetics. We studied accuracy in term of L∞ error n…

We consider optimal control problems for the flow of gas in a pipe network. The equations of motions are taken to be represented by a semi-linear model derived from the fully nonlinear isothermal Euler gas equations. We formulate an optimal control problem on…

This article concerns the application of wavelet techniques on molecular surfaces constituted of four-sided patches. The Polarizable Continuum Model, which is governed by the Poisson-Boltzmann equation, is treated by means of boundary integral equations. The…

In this paper, we propose random fluctuation on contact and recovery rates in deterministic SIR model with disease deaths in nonparametric manner and derive a new stochastic SIR model with distributed time delay and general diffusion coefficients. By analysis…

A concept map is a diagram depicting relationships among concepts which is used as a knowledge representation tool in many knowledge domains. In this paper, we build on the modeling framework of Hui et al . (2008) in order to develop a concept map suitable fo…

In the work, the problems of proper and forced oscillations of dissipative mechanical systems, consisting of rigid and deformable bodies are solved. To quantify the dissipative properties of the system, two values are proposed: the minimum resonance frequency…

The degree of variation of trading prices with respect to time is volatility-measured by the standard deviation of returns. We present the estimation of stochastic volatility from the stochastic differential equation for evenly spaced data. We indicate that,…

An efficient multigrid finite-differences scheme for solving elliptic Fredholm partial integro-differential equations (PIDE) is discussed. This scheme combines a second-order accurate finite difference discretization of the PIDE problem with a multigrid schem…

The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of applied mathema… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
