We develop a new evolutionary method of generating epsilon-efficient solutions of a continuous multiobjective programming problem. This is achieved by discretizing the problem and then using a genetic algorithm with some derived probabilistic stopping criteri…

In a survival analysis context, we suggest a new method to estimate the piecewise constant hazard rate model. The method provides an automatic procedure to find the number and location of cut points and to estimate the hazard on each cut interval. Estimation…

In this paper, we prove the existence of a limit cycle for a given system of differential equations corresponding to an asymmetrical intraguild food web model with functional responses Holling type II for the middle and top predators and logistic grow for the…

This research provides some metrics to better summarize streaks in sporting events with binary outcomes. In sporting events, information is often lost when “statistics” are presented regarding “streaks,” and whether or not certain teams or players have been r…

In this paper, the sugarcane and sugar industry in Thailand is studied. The government determines the sugarcane prices which is based on the two main factors: 1) weight and 2) commercial cane sugar (standard value equal 10 C.C.S.). Usually, the C.C.S. will in…

In this paper, using Salagean differential operator, we define and investigate a new subclass of univalent functions . We also establish a characterization property for functions belonging to the class .

This paper studies the existence and uniqueness of solutions for a class of boundary value problems of nonlinear fractional order differential equations involving the Caputo fractional derivative by employing the Banach’s contraction principle and the Schaude…

Simultaneous measurements of position and momentum are considered in n dimensions. We find, that for a particle whose position is strictly localized in a compact domain (spatial uncertainty) with non-empty boundary, the standard deviation of its momentum is s…

Radiation interaction with matter is by nature stochastic. Monte Carlo simulation makes possible, practical, economical and ethical, many experiments otherwise not. In-silico simulation of random samples of radiation histories places into our hands data which…

Understanding the molecular mechanism of the protein assembly still remains a challenge in the case of many biological systems. In this frame, the mechanism which drives RodA hydrophobins to self-assemble onto the surface of the conidia of the human fungal pa…
