Applied Mathematics (AM) is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancements in applied mathematics. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of applied mathema…

Numerical solutions of the modified equal width wave equation are obtained by using the multigrid method and finite difference method. The motion of a single solitary wave, interaction of two solitary waves and development of the Maxwellian initial condition…

A previous study has proposed a mathematical model of type-A medial vestibular nucleus neurons (mVNn). This model is described by a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations, which is based on the Hodgkin-Huxley formalism. The type-A mVNn model cont…
Hui Liu, Yucai Ding
In this paper, the stable problem for differential-algebraic systems is investigated by a convex op-timization approach. Based on the Lyapunov functional method and the delay partitioning approach, some delay and its time-derivative dependent stable criteria…

Rail systems are gradually becoming the most desirable form of transit infrastructure around the world, partly because they are becoming more environmentally friendly compared with airplanes and automobiles. This paper examines the place of emerging countries…

It is quite common in statistical modeling to select a model and make inference as if the model had been known in advance; i.e. ignoring model selection uncertainty. The resulted estimator is called post-model selection estimator (PMSE) whose properties are h…

Mathematical models based on advanced differential equations are utilized to analyze the glucose-insulin regulatory system, and how it affects the detection of Type I and Type II diabetes. In this paper, we have incorporated several models of prominent mathem…

A SIQS epidemic model with saturated incidence rate is studied. Two equilibrium points exist for the system, disease-free and endemic equilibrium. The stability of the disease-free equilibrium and endemic equilibrium exists when the basic reproduction number…

In this paper, we apply the new algorithm of reproducing kernel method to give the approximate solution to some functional-differential equations. The numerical results demonstrate the accuracy of the proposed algorithm.
Robert Goraj
A transformation way of the Navier-Stokes differential equation was presented. The obtained result is the Cauchy momentum equation. The transformation was performed using a novel shorten mathematical notation presented at the beginning of the transformation.

In his 1987 classic book on multiple imputation (MI), Rubin used the fraction of missing information, γ, to define the relative efficiency (RE) of MI as RE = (1 + γ/m)?1/2, where m is the number of imputations, leading to the conclusion that a small m (≤5) wo…

The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of applied mathema… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
