Applied Mathematics (AM) is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancements in applied mathematics. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of applied mathema…

In this paper a new method for solving Goursat problem is introduced using Reduced Differential Transform Method (RDTM). The approximate analytical solution of the problem is calculated in the form of series with easily computable components. The comparison o…

A mathematical model of vibrissa motoneurons (vMN), which has been developed by Harish and Golomb, can show repetitive spiking in response to a transient external stimulation. The vMN model is described by a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations…

New theorems of asymptotical stability and uniformly asymptotical stability for nonautonomous difference equations are given in this paper. The classical Liapunov asymptotical stability theorem of nonautonomous difference equations relies on the existence of…

1-way multihead quantum finite state automata (1QFA(k)) can be thought of modified version of 1-way quantum finite state automata (1QFA) and k-letter quantum finite state automata (k-letter QFA) respectively. It has been shown by Moore and Crutchfield as well…

The salient significance of the solution of radial diffusivity equation to well testing analysis done in oil and gas industry cannot be over-emphasized. Varieties of solutions have been proposed to the radial diffusivity equation, of which the Van Everdingen-…

First-order proximal methods that solve linear and bilinear elliptic optimal control problems with a sparsity cost functional are discussed. In particular, fast convergence of these methods is proved. For benchmarking purposes, inexact proximal schemes are co…

In this paper, complete semigroup binary relation is defined by semilattices of the class . We give a full description of idempotent elements of given semigroup. For the case where X is a finite set and , we derive formulas by calculating the numbers of idemp…

In this paper, we study the uniqueness problems of entire and meromorphic functions concerning differential polynomials sharing fixed point and obtain some results which generalize the results due to Subhas S. Bhoosnurmath and Veena L. Pujari [1].

In this paper, we propose to replace the Chebyshev series used in pseudospectral methods with the equivalent Chebyshev economized power series that can be evaluated more rapidly. We keep the rest of the implementation the same as the spectral method so that t…

In the paper, we give a necessary and sufficient condition of matching equivalence of two graphs with the maximum matching root less than or equal to 2.
