Circuits and Systems (CS) is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancements in circuits and systems. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of circuits and…
R. Anand, Dr. S. Saravanan
A comparative study is done in regards to the performance of the popular Perturb and Observe algorithm and the Genetic Assisted-Radial Basis Function-Neural Network (GA-RBF-NN) algorithm, both incorporating the Interleaved Boost converter. The Perturb and Obs…
R. Anand, Dr. S. Saravanan
This paper proposes an effective Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) controller being incorporated into a solar Photovoltaic system supplying a Brushless DC (BLDC) motor drive as the load. The MPPT controller makes use of a Genetic Assisted Radial Basis Funct…
Kannabiran Kanimozhi, Bagarudeen Raja Mohamed Rabi
In this paper, a Hybrid MPPT algorithm is proposed to improve the efficiency of photovoltaic (PV) systems under partial shading conditions. Partial shading occurs due to clouds, trees, dirt and dust in PV systems. In partial shading, multiple peaks arise in t…
Periyavattam Shanmugam Gomathi, Bhuvanesh Kalaavathi
Multimodal medical image fusion is a powerful tool for diagnosing diseases in medical field. The main objective is to capture the relevant information from input images into a single output image, which plays an important role in clinical applications. In thi…
B. Venkatesan, R. Ilangovan, P. Jayabalan, N. Mahendran, N. Sakthieswaran
This paper analyses the seismic performance of exterior beam-column joints strengthened with unconventional reinforcement detailing. The beam-column joint specimens were tested with reverse cyclic loading applied at the beam end. The samples were divided into…
M. Gopila, I. Gnanambal
Power transformers in transmission network are utilized for increasing or decreasing the voltage level. Power Transformers fail to connect directly to the consumers that result in the less load fluctuations. Power transformer operation under any abnormal cond…
V. Sasikala, N. UmaMaheswari, R. Venkatesh
A new technique using fuzzy in a recursive fashion is presented to deal with the Gaussian noise. In this technique, the keyframes and between frames are identified initially and the keyframe is denoised efficiently. This frame is compared with the between fra…
V. Parimala, S. Chenthur Pandian, D. Ganeshkumar
This paper describes the mitigation of harmonics in source and neutral current in three phase four wire system based on 4-leg shunt active power filter under balanced and unbalanced load conditions. Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and conventional Proportio…
P. Saravanan, R. Arumugam, M. Senthil Kumaran
The electromagnetic torque and speed in Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) greatly depend on the excitation parameters i.e. turn-on angle, turn-off angle, dwell angle and magnitude of the phase currents of its phases. At lower speeds, a change in the current con…
V. Rajmohan, O. Uma Maheswari
In today’s digital era, developing digital circuits is bounded by the research towards investigating various nano devices. This paper provides the design of compact Baugh-Wooley multiplier using reversible logic. Even though various researches have been done…
