Gas-solid two-phase flow in a 90? bend has been studied numerically. The bend geometry is squared cross section of (0.15 m × 0.15 m) and has a turning radius of 1.5 times the duct's hydraulic diameter. The solid phase consists of glass spheres having mean dia…

In the low pressure section of the steam turbines the damages are pronounced becoming remarkable in all the stages, since the generation of water liquid microparticles implies the impact on the blades having majors problems of erosion in the last stages by th…

Both Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs) and Electric Vehicles (EVs) need a traction motor and a power in-verter to drive the traction motor. The requirements for the power inverter include high peak power, opti-mum consumption of energy, low output harmonics and…
Lijun Wang, Linli Wei
A certain formation pressure level must be kept due to the threshold pressure of the low-permeability reser-voir during the seepage. Advanced water injection can keep the formation pressure at a higher level and keep a higher pressure gradient, which is an ef…

In this paper, condensation of water vapor from a mixture of COR2R/HR2RO is studied numerically. To simplify the study and focus on the physical model, a simple vertical plate was chosen. Two condensation models are developed and numerical approach is conside…

In this research, Computational analysis of the laminar natural convection on vertical surfaces has been in-vestigated. Natural convection is observed when density gradients are present in a fluid acted upon by a gravitational field. Our example of this pheno…

EPE, a monthly journal, publishes research and review articles in all important aspects of electric power engineering and other professionals involved in the electric power industry. Both experimental and theoretical papers are acceptable provided they report important findings, novel insights, or useful techniques in… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
