We study the thermal behaviour of some models in a steady periodic regime. The aim is to simulate the be-haviour of small environments at the outermost part of our planet, subjected to the periodic solar radiation. Our approach is based on a method using lump…
Vadim Mizonov, Nickolay Yelin, Piotr Yakimychev
A cell model to describe and optimize heat and mass transfer in contact heat exchangers for utilization of exhaust gases heat is proposed. The model is based on the theory of Markov chains and allows calculating heat and mass transfer at local moving force of…
Srikrishna Subramanian, Seeni Padma
Transformers are one of the main components of any power system. An accurate estimation of system be-haviour, including load flow studies, protection, and safe control of the system calls for an accurate equiva-lent circuit parameters of all system components…

Induction motors are extensively used in industrial and household appliances and consume more than 50% of the total generated electrical energy. The need for energy conservation is increasing the requirements for saving the electrical energy. It is therefore…
Jinfeng Liu, Xudong Wang, Jiang Nan
The Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) of direct current (DC) motor windings is a system model which is used to reflect the functional characters of the system in the whole EMC specified frequency (150 KHz ~ 30 MHz). For most motor designing process, it is a…
Saeid Jalilzadeh, Reza Noroozian, Mahdi Sabouri, Saeid Behzadpoor
In this paper, the Authors present the designing of power system stabilizer (PSS) and static var compensator (SVC) based on chaos, particle swarm optimization (PSO) and shuffled frog leaping (SFL) Algorithms has been presented to improve the power system stab…

EPE, a monthly journal, publishes research and review articles in all important aspects of electric power engineering and other professionals involved in the electric power industry. Both experimental and theoretical papers are acceptable provided they report important findings, novel insights, or useful techniques in… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
