Multi-deployment of dispersed power sources became an important need with the rapid increase of the Distributed generation (DG) technology and smart grid applications. This paper proposes a computational tool to assess the optimal DG size and deployment for m…
Zhibin Ren, Xiping Liu
In order to meet the requirement of reliably running which is by Electric Vehicle for motor controller, the paper is focused on a sensorless brushless DC motor controller design and a commutation point method. By utilizing the saturation effect of stator iron…
Qiudong Sun, Zhengxin Zhou, Weiqin Guo
This study presented an insulation state monitoring method for large generator based on radio frequency (RF) technique. As an on-line condition monitor and the precondition of condition-based maintenance (CBM), the RF monitor used the high frequency current m…

A novel micro heat pipe array was used in solar panel cooling. Both of air-cooling and water-cooling conditions under nature convection condition were investigated in this paper. Compared with the ordinary solar panel, the maximum difference of the photoelect…
Abdelaziz Arbaoui, Mohamed Asbik
This study presents a decision-support tool for preliminary design of a horizontal wind turbine system. The function of this tool is to assist the various actors in making decisions about choices inherent to their activities in the field of wind energy. Wind…

EPE, a monthly journal, publishes research and review articles in all important aspects of electric power engineering and other professionals involved in the electric power industry. Both experimental and theoretical papers are acceptable provided they report important findings, novel insights, or useful techniques in… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
