EPE, a monthly journal, publishes research and review articles in all important aspects of electric power engineering and other professionals involved in the electric power industry. Both experimental and theoretical papers are acceptable provided they report important findings, novel insights, or useful techniques in…

Frequency deviation can be used as an indicator of imbalance between supply and demand. When generation is insufficient, it can cause frequency decline in a power system operation. Implementing under frequency load shedding (UFLS) is one of the common methods…
Joanna Burger, Michael Gochfeld, Robert Ridgely
Information on the migratory pathways for birds is essential to the future citing of wind power facilities, particularly in off-shore waters. Yet, relatively little is known about the coastal or offshore migratory behavior of most birds, including Franklin’s…

This paper shows that energy of 105 ton of oil can be obtained from space by fs (fermtosecond) eletromagnetic pulse technique in one second and one cm3 without any loss. This paper shows that the energy conservation law and Fermi golden rule should be negativ…
Qingwei Wang, Bo Liu, Xiaorong Xiang, Xiangfeng Bo, Weimin Hou
The inherent unsteady pressure fluctuations on the rotating blade suction surface of an axial compressor were experimentally measured by directly mounting five high response miniature pressure transducers into the rotor blade along a streamline at 50% span re…
Weiqing Tao, Jing Wang
The current consumption method of Electric Power Industry is “electricity consumption first, paying for it later”. The trend of consumption method is Pre-order Electricity. If we adopt the Pre-order Electricity System, we need to replace Traditional Energy Me…
Yingle Li, Mingjun Wang, Qunfeng Dong, Gaofeng Tang
The transformation of parameter tensors for anisotropic medium in different coordinate systems is derived. The electric field for a magnetized cold plasma sphere and the general expression of scattering field from anisotropic target are obtained. The function…
Srikrishna Subramanian, Ganesan Sivarajan
This paper presents a sequential approach with matrix framework for solving various kinds of economic dispatch problems. The objective of the economic dispatch problems of electrical power generation is to schedule the committed generating units output so as…

The co-liquefaction of lignite coal and used tire was performed in a 250-ml batch reactor, in supercritical water under a nitrogen atmosphere to investigate the effects of temperature (380-440℃), water/feedstock ratio (4/1-10/1 (wt./wt.)) and the % used tire…

This paper deals with the human adaptability to its built environment. The built environment as we know it rarely finds itself adapting to its surrounding context, whether it be on the level of interaction with humans or the climate. Humans and nature both ar…

EPE, a monthly journal, publishes research and review articles in all important aspects of electric power engineering and other professionals involved in the electric power industry. Both experimental and theoretical papers are acceptable provided they report important findings, novel insights, or useful techniques in… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
Declare all funding sources, conflicts of interest, and ethical approvals (including informed consent and animal-care statements where applicable).
