Intelligent Substation as one of the core components converting and managing energy within sturdy and smart power grid system coordinates electricity generation, transformation, transmission, distribution, usage and dispatching. In this paper, a thorough cont…
Wencheng Zheng, Tao Yu
In order to meet the requirements of Decree of the State Council of the People's Republic of China (No.599), this paper presents a three-defense line coordination strategy based on the Decree of the State Council (No.599). Taking the Guizhou power grid of 220…
Azeddine Draou, Senior Mieee
In this paper, a voltage oriented control strategy for three-level PWM rectifier based on Sliding Mode Control (SMC) is introduced in order to obtain fast and accurate response of dc-bus voltage. To verify the validity of the analysis and the feasibility of t…
Cheng Zhang, Chi Sun, Sheng Ai
Currently, the high-speed serial fiber-optic ring net communication is a main method for performing the distributed control network topology and control mode. Because of a network transmission delay inherent in the topology, synchronization between nodes has…

This paper presents a comparative study on Magnetic-Dispersion based Energy Harvesting Systems (MD-EHS) on electrical conductors that supply power for a three-phase AC motor. It introduces two MD-EHS which are based on magnetic cores of different material, na…
Zi-Xia Cheng, Xiao-Feng Wang, Xi-Bo Wu, Gang Du, Fei-Yan Li
The fault recovery of VSC-HVDC transmission system is often influenced by many factors, such as the reactive power compensation characteristics of the inverter and the dynamic performance of DC controllers. In this paper, the PSCAD/ EMTDC simulation tool is u…
Xiaoyi Su, Qifeng Xu
The mathematics and physics model of OCT (Optical Current Transformer) with a gapped magnetic ring is briefly discussed in the paper. And some proposals of how to select the magnetic materials and crystals and reduce the stress birefringence of the crystal ar…
Rui Guo, Jinsong Du, Jinghui Wu, Yiyang Liu
Due to the special features of great inertia, pure lag and non-linearity provided with wind turbine, coupled with complex and variable working condition, it is difficult to achieve satisfactory control results simply by employing traditional PID, which has th…

Both experimental and theoretical papers are acceptable provided they report important findings, novel insights, or useful techniques in… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
