Green and Sustainable Chemistry (GSC) covers subjects relating to reducing the environmental impact of chemicals and fuels by developing alternative and sustainable technologies that are non-toxic to living things and the environment. All the manuscripts must be prepared in English and are subject to a rigorous and fa…

Biaxial-oriented polypropylene (BOPP) thin films are currently used as dielectrics in state-of-the-art capacitors that show many advantages, such as low energy loss and high breakdown strength, but a limited energy density (<2 J/cm3). This paper reviews some…

The gold nanoparticles were prepared in many methods, differed in reducing and dispersion agents and stability. The first solution was prepared by using potassium bitartrate as reducing agent and Polyethylene glycol as a dispersion factor. We got a solution o…

To render layered silicates miscible with polymer matrices, one must convert the normally hydrophilic silicate surface to an organophilic one, making the intercalation of polymeric chain between silicate layers possible. This can be done by ion-exchange react…

Crystalline manganese carbonate was found to be a versatile green, non corrosive and environmental friendly catalyst for transesterification of vegetable oils. Its use as catalyst in the transesterification process involving methanol and vegetable oils (palm,…
Shihong Dong, Mingyuan Zhu, Bin Dai
A solid acid catalyst of zirconium sulfate (ZS) on a pure hexagonal mesoporous silica (HMS) sieve was prepared and characterized by small angle X-ray diffraction, NH3-temperature programmed desorption, and thermogravimetric analysis. The obtained ZS/HMS catal…
Mohd Bismillah Ansari, Eun-Young Jeong, Sang-Eon Park
Tirazine based microporous polymeric (TMP) network was found to be an efficient metal-free catalyst for the epoxidation of styrene. The reactions were performed in water as an environmentally benign medium using H2O2 as a green oxidant at ambient temperature.…
Colin Charles Duke, Caroline van Haaften, Van Hoan Tran
An efficient method of isolating an anti-cancer sesquiterpene lactone, eremophila-1(10)-11(13)-dien-12,8?- olide, was developed from fresh Calomeria amaranthoides plant material on the basis of its non-polar vola-tile property. Steam distillation of fresh pla…

A (μ-oxo)tetraruthenium cluster showed high catalytic activity for a simple and practical aerobic oxidation of alcohols to aldehydes and ketones under 1 atm of O2 or air. After the reaction, this cluster catalyst was re- covered from the reaction mixture, and…

Poly ethylene glycols (PEG-200, 400, 600, 4000 and 6000) supported reactions were conducted with certain α, β-unsaturated acids in presence of metal nitrates under solvent free (solid state) and mineral acid free conditions. The reactants were ground in a mor…
Jie Hu, Lei Liu, Xiangchuan Wang, Yuanyuan Hu, Shangdong Yang, Yongmin Liang
Phase-transfer-catalyzed intramolecular cyclization reaction of forming benzo[b]furan and 3-methyleneisoin- doline-1-one derivatives has been developed. The cyclization reaction of propargylic carbonates was also de- scribed under metal-free condition and the…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
