JEMAA is a professional journal in the field of electromagnetic analysis, testing and application. The goal of this journal is to provide an international platform for engineers and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the field of electromagnetics. It i…
Zhanlei Zhang, Guozhong Liu
With the development of optics and microelectronics technology, the portable 3D scanner which is regarded as combination of laser technology, computer science and artificial intelligence have been applied widely in the three-dimensional measuring field, the b…
Imen Sfar, Lotfi Osman, Ali Gharsallah
We present in this paper a wideband RF demodulator using a five-port correlator and a power detector for channel sounding applications. The demodulator has been fabricated using microstrip components. The correlator receives from the five-port qualities that…
Ruwaybih Alsulami, Heather Song
A novel elliptical patch resonator for a compact bandpass filter with tunable bandwidth is presented. This bandpass filter has the advantage of great flexibility in which the center frequency can be changed easily. The bandwidth of this filter can be modified…
Norbert Leitgeb, Florian Niedermayr, Gerhard Loos
To investigate electromagnetic interference (EMI) of electromagnetic fields (EMF) from electronic article surveillance (EAS) systems with electronic implants numerical anatomical models of pacemaker patients were generated accounting for different implantatio…
Liza M. Resley, Heather H. Song
A novel multi-band end-fire antenna array was designed, fabricated, and characterized. Analytical calculations were carried out to determine the critical antenna dimensions and the design was optimized using a 3D electromagnetic finite-element solver. The mea…
Glendo de Freitas Guimarães, Agliberto Melo Bastos, Alisson da Conceição Ferreira, Alex Sander Barros Queiroz, José Wally Mendonça Menezes, José Rubens Rodrigues de Sousa, Antonio Sergio Bezerra Sombra
A numerical simulation study of the performance of encoding and decoding of short optical pulse in OCDMA (Optical Code Division Multiple Access) systems under non-linear optical effects is presented. The performance of encoding and decoding short pulses is ob…

An electromagnetic solitary structure in attosecond regime is identified, costreaming with electron bunch. It is observed via nonlinear process of Self-Thomson backscattering of a n ultra-intense laser from thin foil target. The process is termed as Self-Thom…
Wladyslaw Zakowicz, Andrzej A. Skorupski, Eryk Infeld
We present an analysis of electromagnetic oscillations in a spherical conducting cavity filled concentrically with either dielectric or vacuum layers. The fields are given analytically, and the resonant frequency is determined numerically. An important specia…
Shahrooz Asadi, Mustapha C. E. Yagoub
Based on the active coupled line concept, a novel approach for efficient signal and noise modeling of millimeter-wave field-effect transistors is proposed. The distributed model considers the effect of wave propagation along the device electrodes, which can s…
Abdelwahab Benouatas, Mohamed Lahdi Riabi
In this work, a compact finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) algorithm with a memory-reduced technique is proposed for the dispersion analysis of rectangular waveguides either fully or partially loaded with longitudinally-magnetized ferrite. In this algorithm…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
Declare all funding sources, conflicts of interest, and ethical approvals (including informed consent and animal-care statements where applicable).
