JEMAA is a professional journal in the field of electromagnetic analysis, testing and application. The goal of this journal is to provide an international platform for engineers and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the field of electromagnetics. It i…

Electric and magnetic fields in time and frequency domain due to return stroke-lateral corona (RS-LC) system and re- cently discovered red sprites have been calculated. It has been found that the electric and magnetic fields due to return stroke and lateral c…

Scattering of the electromagnetic waves by a randomly inhomogeneous electrically gyrotropic slab are studied using the perturbation method. Second order statistical moments of the ordinary and extraordinary waves scattered by the magnetized plasma slab are ob…

We have performed numerical analyses to investigate the propagation characteristics of a simple-one dimensional metallic-dielectric structure. Several different metals have been studied (aluminum, gold, copper, and silver). Copper gives the smallest absorptio…

We present a study of the enhancement of the electric field due to localized surface plasmons in a short chain of metallic nanoparticles with different shapes: spheres, cylinders and spheroids. We calculate numerically the external radiation effect on these c…

The effect of aspect ratio (width-to-length ratio) on overall radiation characteristics of a rectangular microstrip patch antenna is theoretically investigated with a view to develop a concrete physical insight in to the phenomenon. The detailed variation of…

A rigorous full wave technique based on the Transverse Wave Concept Iterative Procedure (WCIP) is used to design a complex Frequency Selective Surface (FSS). These surfaces include a periodically arrangement of identical circuit. There are used as filters and…

Basing on the transformation optics, we propose a kind of transformation method of compressing or stretching. With the method, we propose a design of transparent radome for different structures. The electromagnetic (EM) waves inside or outside the radome can…

In order to realize the micromation of position sensors, and extend the application area into micro scale, this paper designs a novel micro position sensor, Mace SAW (Surface Acoustic Wave) position sensor, which can be fabricated with MEMS technology. Its ke…

Estimation of power transformer no-load loss is a critical issue in the design of distribution transformers. Any deviation in estimation of the core losses during the design stage can lead to a financial penalty for the transformer manufacturer. In this paper…

In this work, we present a numerical model to solve the drift diffusion equations coupled with electromagnetic model, where all simulations codes are implemented using MATLAB code software. As first, we present a one-dimensional (1-D) PIN diode structure simu…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
