Sofyan A. Taya, Taher M. El-Agez, Anas A. Alkanoo
In a recent previous work, we proposed a rotating polarizer-analyzer ellipsometer (RPAE) in which the two elements are rotating synchronously in the same direction with a speed ratio 1:3. We applied this technique to bulk samples. In this work, we present the…
Samia Bouali, Taoufik Aguili
This paper presents a modeling and an analysis of one-dimensional periodic structure composed of a cascade connection of N cells considered as infinite. The ABCD matrix representations with the Floquet analysis have been used to derive the dispersion relation…
Kachout Mnaouer, Bel Hadj Tahar Jamel, Choubani Fethi
In this paper the crosstalk between nonuniform transmission lines is examined. Firstly, methods for prediction of crosstalk between microstrip transmission lines are reviewed. Classical coupled transmission line theory is used for uniform lines and cannot be…
Somporn Seewattanapon, Prayoot Akkaraekthalin
This paper proposes the stepped coaxial line sensor using the reflection coefficient in microwave range for complex permittivity measuring. The proposed probe is adapted from the conventional SMA connector which is cheap and easy to fabricate. The analysis mo…

The transverse magnetic (TM) radiation characteristics are investigated for a cylinder with N infinite axial slots of arbitrary opening size and location. The cylinder is a thin circular conductor and coated by an eccentric material. Fields are found by apply…
Kaliyavarathan Thirumalaivasan, Rangaswamy Nakkeeran
This paper presents an experimental verification of ultra-wideband bandpass filter (BPF) for UWB applications and notch filter in order to suppress 5 GHz narrowband service when it coexists with UWB radio system. The BPF consists of a hexagonal shaped multipl…
Kaliyavarathan Thirumalaivasan, Rangaswamy Nakkeeran
Miniaturized Ultra-Wideband (UWB) microstrip bandpass filter with wide passband is presented. The filter is developed based on modified multiple mode resonator, which is formed by transversely attaching three pairs of non-uniform and folded stubs with lowpass…
Junwei Lv, Yingsong Li, Zili Chen
The paper analyzes the motion of electron in plasma antenna and the distribution of electromagnetic field power around the plasma antenna, and proposes a self-consistent model according to the structure of cylindrical monopole plasma antenna excited by surfac…
Khitam El Wasife
In this paper, the power density and specific absorption rate (SAR) distribution in multi-layered life tissues and exposed to electromagnetic field emitted from handheld cellular phone operating in the 900 MHz and 1800 MHz is studied. We modeled a life tissue…
Anastasios Tsaraklimanis, Evangelia Karagianni
The DVB-T (Digital Video Broadcasting—Terrestrial) standard is being deployed in many parts of the world for digital broadcasting services, providing a variety of features extending the capabilities of the older analog ones. In this paper, a two-stage low noi…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
