Dielectric rod arrays in a metallic waveguide alter the propagation modes and group velocities of electromagnetic waves. We focus on TE10-to-TE20 mode converters and investigate the variation in their behavior with frequency. In this inv…

In this paper, a simple control algorithm for the dynamic voltage restorer (DVR) is proposed to mitigate the power quality problems in terminal voltage such as sag, swell, harmonics, unbalance etc. Two PI (proportional-integral) controllers are used each to r…

The asymmetric parabolic double quantum wells (DQWs) with resonant levels (the ground state energy in one well co-incides with the first excited state energy in another well) is analyzed. The splitting of these levels and the tunneling times are calculated. I…

In this paper, Method of Kobayashi Potential is used to determine the scattering behavior of a strip which is placed at the air-complex conjugate medium interface. And discussion is presented that how the complex conjugate medium mod-ify the scattering proper…

Wireless communications from air to fresh water are studied here. Our analysis relies on plane wave propagation mod-els. Specifically, the transmission loss and propagation loss of RF waves penetrating into fresh water are calculated for various propagation d…

We have theoretically studied the modal dispersion equation and effective refractive index of one-dimensional plasma photonic crystals (1-D PPCs) having different materials in one unit cell. The dispersion relations related for such structure is derived by so…

We present the design of one-dimensional photonic crystal structures, which can be used as omnidirectional reflecting shields against radiative heating of space vehicles entering the Earth’s atmosphere. This radiation is approximated by two broad bands center…

According to a previously introduced entropy approach, it is possible to clarify the confusions of the duality concept that electrons and light may behave as waves or particles. In other words, the electron is clearly defined in this paper as a particle and t…

Personal computers, apart from being ubiquitous in our everyday activity, very often have been object of study for eventual negative health consequences. During the recent years, a great number of schools in Albania are equipped with lab rooms for teaching co…

A coupled resonator diplexer has been designed, fabricated, and tested. The design is based on synthesis of coupling matrix of a 3-port coupled resonator circuit using optimization. Unlike conventional diplexers, the presented diplexer configuration does not…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
