This paper presents calculations of the varying inductances profile for a synchronous linear surface mounted permanent magnet generator in an ABC reference system. Calculations are performed by utilizing the reluctance term, known from analytic calculations a…
Elmissaoui Taoufik, Soudani Nabila, Bouallegue Ridha
In this work, an Ultra Wide Band (UWB) radar system is proposed in an attempt to take a medical image of each hu-man body layer. In fact, this system consists of sending an electromagnetic pulse and analyzing the echo reflected by the human body tissue. In or…

The Duffing equation describes the oscillations of a damped nonlinear oscillator [1]. Its non-linearity is confined to a one coordinate-dependent cubic term. Its applications describing a mechanical system is limited e.g. oscillations of a theoretical weightl…
Bhim Singh, Gaurav Kumar Kasal, Ambrish Chandra, Kamal-Al Haddad
This paper presents an investigation on a voltage and frequency controller (VFC), which functions as an improved elec-tronic load controller (IELC) for parallel operated isolated asynchronous generators (IAGs) in an autonomous hydro power generation system. I…
Uygun V. Valiev, Alexandr A. Simonov, Dejun Fu, Davron R. Dzhuraev
In this work the results of polarization researches of low-optical fiber waveguides with conservation of polarization are presented. Obtained results quite convincingly testify regarding a high sensitivity low-mode regime of work of an optical fiber to anisot…
Martine Rousseau, Gérard A. Maugin
The main properties (attenuation along the surface, attenuation in depth, additional radiation in depth, dispersion in propagation space) of Bleustein-Gulyaev surface acoustic waves (SAWs) in electroelasticity are determined in terms of a perturbation due to…

An accurate determination of lightning protection zone is an important issue in the analysis and design of an appropri-ate lightning protection system. This paper presents a fast and accurate protection zone determination methodology for metallic lightning ro…
Dhirendra Kumar, Asok De
An effective technique to design compact low pass filter has been proposed in this paper. The proposed method is highly effective for L-band applications. Low impedance microstrip lines are arranged such that they work as open stubs to increase the selectivit…
Wenhua Hu, Pinggang Song, Zhongbin Chen, Qianzhi Zhou
A new type power convertsion mode is structured by combineing switch power conversion mode with linear amplifica-tion mode, so as to acquire their integrated optimal performances. The theoretical analyses and experimental results are presented in this paper.…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
