Model of an atom by analogy with the transmission line is derived using Maxwell ’ s equations and Lorentz ’ theory of electrons. To be realistic such a model requires that the product of the structural coefficient of Lecher ’ s transmission lines σ and atomic…

We present recent theoretical results on superconductivity in correlated-electron systems, especially in the two- dimensional Hubbard model and the three-band d-p model. The mechanism of superconductivity in high-temperature superconductors has been extensive…

In the equation U = I – A for the Mott energy, the electron-hole interaction of the successor state is missing. Adding the attractive term, the energy for disproportionation (Hubbard U ), may adopt any sign. The missing term is related to the Born effect, the…

The magnetic levitation transportation system is one of the potential applications of high- T c superconducting (HTS) maglev system. The prototype HTS magnetic levitation system is composed of one HTS bulk and a permanent magnet railway (PMR). The maglev tran…

The article shows how the phenomenon of superconductivity can contribute to the origin of Saturn rings. The main ar gument for this coming from the general physics consideration and based on the fact that Saturn has a magnetic field, and the temperature of th…

We present the effect of disorder on the optical conductivity of two-dimensional inhomogeneous superconductors by applying the kernel polynomial method to solve the Bogoliubov-de Gennes equations. By means of the lattice size scal ing of the generalized inver…

In contrast to the normal operator approach, our reverse approach starts from the state vector in the Hilbert space. In this work, we give a concise introduction to our recent work in this aspect. By postulating a superconducting state (SCS) to be a generaliz…

A detailed analysis of the magnetic response of field-cooled type-I superconducting hollow cylinders shows that the so - called “paramagnetic Meissner effect” can take place in opportunely devised multiply connected superconductors. Adopting simple circuital…

Individual metallic single-wall carbon nanotubes show unusual non-Ohmic transport behaviors at low and high bias fields. For low-resistance contact samples, the differential conductance increases with increasing bias, reaching a maximum at ~ 100 mV . As the b…

Journal of Modern Physics is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancements in modern physics. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of modern physics. All… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
