JSIP is an international refereed journal dedicated to the latest advancements in signal and information processing. The goal of this journal is to keep a record of the state-of-the-art research and promote the research work in the areas. This journal invites original research and review papers that address the follow…
Hari Om, Mantosh Biswas
VisuShrink, ModineighShrink and NeighShrink are efficient image denoising algorithms based on the discrete wavelet transform (DWT). These methods have disadvantage of using a suboptimal universal threshold and identical neighbouring window size in all wavelet…

Successful blind image deconvolution algorithms require the exact estimation of the Point Spread Function size, PSF. In the absence of any priori information about the imagery system and the true image, this estimation is normally done by trial and error expe…
Cong Wu, Nengyun Feng, Koichi Harada, Pengcheng Li
A de-noising approach is proposed that based on the combination of wiener filtering, nonlinear filtering and wavelet fusion, which de-noise the LASCA (LAser Speckle Contrast Analysis) image of blood vessels in Small Animals. The approach first performs laser…

This paper presents a new adaptive mutation approach for fastening the convergence of immune algorithms (IAs). This method is adopted to realize the twin goals of maintaining diversity in the population and sustaining the convergence capacity of the IA. In th…

Some applications are constrained only to implement low cost receivers. In this case, designers are required to use less complex and non-expensive modulation techniques. Differential Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (DQPSK) and Gaussian Frequency Shift Keying (G…
Mohammed Mustafa Siddeq
In this paper introduce new idea for image compression based on the two levels DWT. The low-frequency sub-band is minimized by using DCT with the Minimize-Matrix-Size-Algorithm, which is converting the AC-coefficients into array contains stream of real values…

Analysis of long-term EEG signals needs that it be segmented into pseudo stationary epochs. That work is done by regarding to statistical characteristics of a signal such as amplitude and frequency. Time series measured in real world is frequently non-station…
Masoud Sabaghi, S. Reza Hadianamrei, Mehdi Fattahi, Mohammad Reza Kouchaki, Ali Zahedi
Retinal image is one of the robust and accurate biometrics. A new biometric identification system base on combination of Fourier transform and that special partitioning and wavelet transform presented in this article. In this method, at first, optical disc is…
Mehmet S. Unluturk, Jafar Saniie
Order statistic filters are used often in the applications of science and engineering problems. This paper investigates the design and training of a feed-forward neural network to approximate minimum, median and maximum operations. The design of order statist…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
