In recent years, functional data has been widely used in finance, medicine, biology and other fields. The current clustering analysis can solve the problems in finite-dimensional space, but it is difficult to be directly used for the clustering of functional…

Decision-theoretic interval estimation requires the use of loss functions that, typically, take into account the size and the coverage of the sets. We here con sider the class of monotone loss functions that, under quite general cond itions, guarantee Bayesia…

In the Sahel region , the population depends largely on rain-fed agriculture. In West Africa in particular, climate models turn out to be unable to capture some basic features of present-day climate variability. This study proposes a contribution to the analy…

The present paper propose s a new robust estimator for Poisson regression models. We used the weighted maximum likelihood estimators which are regarded as Mallows-type estimator s . We perform a Monte Carlo simulation study to assess the perform ance of a sug…

The purpose of the research is to analyze the new Spanish law of Traffic, which no longer permits exceeding by up to 20 km/hour the generic speed limits when overtaking on conventional roads. In this research, deterministic and random models are developed to…

The problem of skewness is common among clinical trials and survival data , which has be en the research focus derivation and proposition of different flexible distributions. Thus, a new distribution called Extended Rayleigh Lomax distribution is constructed…

Geostatistics of extreme values makes it possible to model the asymptotic behavior of random phenomena that depend on time or space. In this paper, we propose new models of the extremal coefficient of a stationary random field where the cumulative distributio…
