We proposed “ a new extension of three - parametric distribution” called the inverse power two-parameter weighted Lindley (IPWL) distribution capable of modeling a upside-down bathtub hazard rate function. This distribution is studied to get basic structural…
Alice Constance Mensah, Ebenezer Okyere
The study examined the causal relationship between export and economic growth based on monthly data for the period 2010 to 2019. Composite Index Economic Activity (CIEA) was used as a proxy for real GDP (economic growth). Time series econometric techniques we…

The convolution of Nadarajah-Haghighi-G family of distributions will result into a more flexible distribution (Nadarajah-Haghighi Gompertz distribution) than each of them individually in terms of the estimate of the characteristics in there parameters. The co…

This paper utilizes a change-point estimator based on the φ - divergence. Since we seek a near perfect translation to reality, then locations of parameter change within a finite set of data have to be accounted for since the assumption of stationary model is…

This paper introduces the class of seasonal fractionally integrated autoregressive moving average - generalized conditional heteroskedastisticty (SARFIMA- GARCH) models, with level shift type intervention that are capable of capturing simultaneously four key…
Jessica M. Rudd, Herman “Gene” Ray
This study uses an empirical analysis to quantify the downstream analysis effects of data pre-processing choices. Bootstrap data simulation is used to measure the bias-variance decomposition of an empirical risk function, mean square error (MSE). Results of t…

We propose a new generator of continuous distributions with at least four positive parameters called the Kumaraswamy-Odd Rayleigh-G family. Some special cases were presented. The plots of the Kumaraswamy Odd Rayleigh Log-Logistic ( KORLL ) distribution indica…

Based on the X-13-ARIMA-SEATS model, aiming at the problem of mobile holidays in China’s economic data, this paper introduces a new method of seasonal adjustment based on the AICC criterion to objectively select the parameters of dummy variables of mobile hol…
