Exponentiated Generalized Weibull distribution is a probability distribution which generalizes the Weibull distribution introducing two more shapes parameters to best adjust the non-monotonic shape. The parameters of the new probability distribution function…

In this study we have proposed a modified ratio type estimator for population variance of the study variable y under simple random sampling without replacement making use of coefficient of kurtosis and median of an auxiliary variable x . The estimator’s prope…

Estimation of bounded populations and carrying capacity in the presence of a sample frame is considered. Models based on Logistic model are proposed. Like the existing estimators, this estimation technique deals with initial condition and is based on yearly p…

In this paper, the performance of existing biased estimators (Ridge Estimator (RE), Almost Unbiased Ridge Estimator (AURE), Liu Estimator (LE), Almost Unbiased Liu Estimator (AULE), Principal Component Regression Estimator (PCRE), r - k class estimator and r…

Non-response is a regular occurrence in Sample Surveys. Developing estimators when non-response exist s may result in large biases when estimating population parameters. In this paper, a finite population mean is estimated when non-response exists randomly un…
