The World Journal of Mechanics (WJM) will cover the general field of mechanics including the mechanics of solids, structures and fluids and their interaction. The goal of this journal is to provide an international forum for the publication and dissemination of original work which contributes to the understanding of t…
Herman A. van Hoeve
The purpose of this paper is to introduce new theoretical concepts as opposed to accepting the existence of dark entities, such as dark energy. This research sought to introduce a 2nd universal space-time constant, besides having a finite speed con…

The SI system of units in rotational mechanics yields correct numerical results, but it produces physically incorrect units of measure in many cases. SI units also violate the principle of general covariance — the general rule for defining continuous coordina…

The purpose of the paper is to substantiate the possibility of constructing the physics of the evolution of matter based on the fundamental laws of physics. It is shown how this can be done within the framework of an extension of classical mechanics. Its expa…

Hydropower gains increasing importance as a steerable and controllable power source in a renewable energy mix and deregulated markets. Although hydropower produces fossil-free energy, it has a significant impact on the local environment. This review investiga…

In the common theory of the Universe, the redshift of the light wavelength from distant stars indicates the speed of the star. In this study , the model of the Universe is the surface volume of the four-dimensional sphere, and the shape of the Universe result…

The Lagrange - Jacobi equation is one of the significant tools for the qualitative analysis of the n -body problem. In this paper, we present the modified La grange - Jacobi equation by introducing a new formal parameter of n - bod y problem and propose its a…

Vera Rubin measured the rotational speeds of galaxies, Ref. [1] 1983, and she found that the masses of galaxies were not enough to produce the measured speeds of rotation. Therefore , it was inferred that there must be an unknown matter which is many times th…

In this article, a model of a rotor with an asymmetric disk is presented in order to represent Campbell’s diagrams and instability maps as a function of the rotations of the support which can significantly change the dynamic behavior of the rotor. Critical ro…

Steel truss bridges are frequently used in bridge engineering because of their good ability of spanning capacity, construction and light self-weight. Mai n trusses are the critical component of steel truss bridge and the main truss are made of truss members l…

It is well known that a variation in the direction of Earth’s rotation axis is a real astronomical phenomenon , named nutation . It is interesting if a variation of this axis can take place only in intensity, in the simplest theoretical case of only two rigid…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
Declare all funding sources, conflicts of interest, and ethical approvals (including informed consent and animal-care statements where applicable).
