WSN is an international refereed journal dedicated to the advancement of the study of wireless sensor network and applications. The goal of this journal is to keep a record of the state-of-the-art research and promote the research work in the areas. This journal invites original research and review papers that address…
Shaik Sahil Babu, Arnab Raha, Mrinal Kanti Naskar
In Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), the traditional cryptographic mechanisms for security require higher consumption of resources such as large memory, high processing speed and communication bandwidth. Also, they cannot detect faulty, malicious and selfish n…
Mohammed Seed Jawad, Widad Ismail, Ayman Hajjawi, Othman Abdul Rani, Abadal-Salam T. Hussain, Azahari Saleh
Impulse based Ultra wideband technology has been the motivation of many recent researches with the potential of many applications to be researched. The uniqueness of the physical characteristics of the generated signal combined with the high flexibility of fo…

Mobility in Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) presents distinctive challenges in Medium Access Control (MAC) scheme. Numerous MAC protocols for sensor networks assume that sensor nodes are static and focus primarily on energy efficiency. This work seeks to develo…
Abdullah I. Alhasanat, Khaled D. Matrouk, Haitham A. Alasha'ary, Ziad A. Al-Qadi
The design of an effective and robust data gathering algorithm is crucial to the overall performance of wireless sensor networks (WSN). However, using traditional routing algorithms for data gathering is energy-inefficient for sensor nodes with limited power…
Mekkaoui Kheireddine, Rahmoun Abdellatif
Wireless sensor networks are provided with a limited source of power. The lifetime of such networks is an overwhelming matter in most network applications. This lifetime depends strongly on how efficiently such energy is distributed over the nodes especially…
Marco Allegretti
It will show the feasibility of a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) devoted to monitoring water basin, river, lake, and sea both on the surface and in depth. The swarm of floating probes can be programmed to periodically sink some tens of meters below the surface…
Mohammad Abdul Azim, Zeyar Aung, Sofiane Moad, Nizar Bouabdallah, Mario E. Rivero-Angeles, Israel Leyva-Mayorga
Continuous-monitoring (CM) of natural phenomenon is one of the major streams of applications in wireless sensor networks (WSNs), where aggregation and clustering techniques are beneficial as correlation dominates in both spatial and temporal aspects of sensed…
Shalli Rani, Jyoteesh Malhotra, Rajneesh Talwar
Traditional protocols in wireless sensor networks follow the strict layering techniques which lead to the degradation in performance of the QoS (Quality of Service) parameters. Battery powered tiny sensor nodes with constraints of energy and guaranteed time r…
D. Antony Arul Raj, P. Sumathi
Energy efficient routing is one of the major thrust areas in Wireless Sensor Communication Networks (WSCNs) and it attracts most of the researchers by its valuable applications and various challenges. Wireless sensor networks contain several nodes in its terr…

This paper aims to compare between OSPFv2 and OSPFv3, to explain the impact of the change in OSPFv3 packet format and the over load when OSPFv3 uses IPv6 packet instead of IPv4 packet format that was used by OSPFv2, and the comparison based on common OSPF pac…

This journal invites original research and review papers that address… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
Declare all funding sources, conflicts of interest, and ethical approvals (including informed consent and animal-care statements where applicable).
