The aim of this present paper is to establish some new integrodifferential inequalities of Gronwall type involving functions of one independent variable which provide explicit bounds on unknown functions. The inequalities given here can be used in the analysi…

In this paper, we show that every well-defined solution of the max-type system of difference equations , , is eventually periodic with period four.

Analysis of variance (ANOVA) is a usual way for analysing experiments. However, depending on the design and/or the analysis scheme, it can be a hard task. ExpDes, acronym for Experimental Designs, is a package that intends to turn such task easier. Devoted to…

Let G be a locally compact group, H a closed amenable subgroup and u an element of the Herz Figà-Talamanca algebra of H with compact support, we prove the existence of an extension of u to G , with a good control of the norm and of the support of the extensio…

Duration dependence affects the dynamics of multi sate time to event outcomes. In this paper we are testing if a contraction or an expansion state for the housing price is duration dependent on previous states lengths. This test has implications for explainin…

New operators are presented to introduce “arithmetic calculus”, where 1) the operators are just obvious mathematical facts, and 2) arithmetic calculus refers to summing and subtracting operations without solving equations. The sole aim of this paper is to mak…

Based on the violation of Bell inequalities, it has been believed that the derivation of Bell correlations requires a quantum description that depends on entanglement. However, the present paper computes Bell correlations among polarization analyzer output in…

In this paper, we propose a new soft multi-phase segmentation model where it is assumed that the pixel intensities are distributed as a Gaussian mixture. The model is formulated as a minimization problem through the use of the maximum likelihood estimator and…

A composite material as a work piece is taken into account to investigate the elastic characteristics displaying during the cutting process. The magnitude of the elastic behaviors such as displacements and stresses reacts sensitively to the cutting angle and…

Microscopy imaging of mouse growth plates is extensively used in biology to understand the effect of specific molecules on various stages of normal bone development and on bone disease. Until now, such image analysis has been conducted by manual detection. In…
