Applied Mathematics (AM) is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancements in applied mathematics. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of applied mathema…

In this paper, some properties of the positive definite solutions for the nonlinear system of matrix equations X + A * Y -n A = I , Y + B * X -m B = I are derived. As a matter of fact, an effective iterative method to obtain the positive definite solutions of…

The entrance region flow of a Herschel-Bulkley fluid in an annular cylinder has been investigated numerically without making prior assumptions on the form of velocity profile within the boundary layer region. This velocity distribution is determined as part o…

A simple but useful method of analysis of hyperbolic processes is presented and its application is illustrated by using the growth of human population in Africa, the economic growth in Western Europe and the examination of the fundamental postulates of the Un…

In this paper, a hybrid dividend strategy in the compound Poisson risk model is considered. In the absence of dividends, the surplus of an insurance company is modelled by a compound Poisson process. Dividends are paid at a constant rate whenever the modified…

In this article, the modified simple equation method has been extended to celebrate the exact solutions of nonlinear partial time-space differential equations of fractional order. Firstly, the fractional complex transformation has been implemented to convert…

We answer the stability question of the large scale SIS model describing transmission of highland malaria in Western Kenya in a patchy environment, formulated in [1]. There are two equilibrium states and their stability depends on the basic reproduction numbe…

The analytic properties of the scattering amplitude are discussed, and a representation of the potential is obtained using the scattering amplitude. A uniform time estimation of the Cauchy problem solution for the Navier-Stokes equations is provided. The pape…

We consider the block matrices and 3-dimensional graph manifolds associated with a special type of tree graphs. We demonstrate that the linking matrices of these graph manifolds coincide with the reduced matrices obtained from the Laplacian block matrices by…

Fourth order differential equations are considered to develop the class of methods for the numerical solution of boundary value problems. In this paper, we have discussed the regions of absolute stability of fourth order boundary value problems. Methods propo…

Frequency domain analyses in electromyographic (EMG) signals are frequently applied to assess muscle fatigue and similar variables. Moreover, Fourier-based approaches are typically used for investigating these procedures. Nonetheless, Fourier analysis assumes…
