The aim of this paper is to measure dependence risk of fund market with copulas in China. Firstly, we introduce several common copula functions, then estimate parameters of copula function, and discuss how to select the optimal copula function. Finally, accor…

We study a semilinear parabolic problem with a semilinear dynamical boundary condition in an irregular domain with fractal boundary. Local existence, uniqueness and regularity results for the mild solution, are established via a semigroup approach. A sufficie…

One of the main disadvantages of fractal image data compression is a loss time in the process of image compression (encoding) and conversion into a system of iterated functions (IFS). In this paper, the idea of the inverse problem of fixed point is introduced…

A review of the concepts developed about mathematical and physical fractals is presented followed by experimental results of the latter, considered to be a fourth state of matter which pervades the universe from galaxies to submicroscopic systems. A model of…

The paper presents a detailed analysis of ordinary and dark energy density of the cosmos based on two different but complimentary theories. First, and starting from the concept of the speed of light being an average over multi-fractals, we use Magueijo-Smolin…
