In relativistic quantum theories interactions are mediated by force particles called elementary vector bosons: Quantum Electrodynamics (QED) predicts the photon to be the carrier of the electromagnetic force; Quantum Flavordynamics (QFD), also called electrow…

Mixed monotone operator is an important nonlinear operator. It exists extensively in the research of nonlinear differential and integral equations. Generally, the research of mixed monotone operators in partially ordered Banach spaces requires compactness, co…

Wave-particle duality is a familiar concept in the theories of the fundamental processes. We have, for example, electromagnetic waves with the photon as the corresponding particle, gravitational waves with the graviton as the corresponding particle, and Dirac…
Amir Pishkoo, Maslina Darus
In this paper , the Schr ? dinger equation is solved by Mod ified sepa ration of variables (MSV) method suggested by Pishkoo and Darus. Using this method, Meijer’s G -function solutions are derived in cylindrical coordinate system for quantum particle in cyli…
Lingzhi Zhao, Jun Yuan, Yunfeng Cai
In this paper, some new generalizations of the matrix form of the Brunn-Minkowski inequality are presented.
Mohamed Salah, R. M. Amer, M. S. Matbuly
In this paper, two different numerical schemes, namely the Runge-Kutta fourth order method and the implicit Euler method with perturbation method of the second degree, are applied to solve the nonlinear thermal wave in one and two dimensions using the differe…

In this paper, we modify the general-purpose heuristic method called extremal optimization. We compare our results with the results of Boettcher and Percus [1]. Then, some multiobjective optimization problems are solved by using methods motivated by the immun…
John Guenther, Herbert K. H. Lee, Genetha A. Gray
Black box functions, such as computer experiments, often have multiple optima over the input space of the objective function. While traditional optimization routines focus on finding a single best optimum, we sometimes want to consider the relative merits of…

This paper considers a Manpower system where “ exits ” of employed personnel produce some wastage or loss. This system monitor s these wastages over the sequence of exit epochs { t 0 = 0 and t k ; k = 1, 2,… } that form a recurrent process and admit recruitme…
David W. K. Yeung
This paper extends Slutsky’s classic work on consumer theory to a random horizon stochastic dynamic frame work in which the consumer has an inter-temporal planning horizon with uncertainties in future incomes and life span. Utility maximization leading to a s…

Applied Mathematics (AM) is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancements in applied mathematics. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of applied mathema… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
