Applied Mathematics (AM) is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancements in applied mathematics. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of applied mathema…
Yasmina Khellaf, Naceurdine Bensalem
In this paper we address the implementation issue of the geodesics method with constraints on Heisenberg manifolds. First we present more details on the method in order to facilitate its implementation and second we consider Mathema-tica as a software tool fo…
Hiromu Hashimoto, Yuta Sunami
This paper describes the robust optimum design which combines the geometrical optimization method proposed by Hashimoto and statistical method. Recently, 2.5″ hard disk drives (HDDs) are widely used for mobile devices such as laptops, video cameras and car na…
Pham Ngoc Anh, Tran Dinh Quoc, Dang Xuan Son
This paper proposes a new hybrid variant of extragradient methods for finding a common solution of an equilibrium problem and a family of strict pseudo-contraction mappings. We present an algorithmic scheme that combine the idea of an extragradient method and…

Ringing, i.e. the emergence of an oscillatory tail behind a wave pulse as it propagates through a medium, is a pervasive artefact in FE and FDTD calculated waveforms. It is known to be a consequence of numerical dispersion arising from the discretization of t…

The Bioprocessing industry delivers high-value protein-based pharmaceutical products produced using microbial or animal cells. Animal cell culture, the only method currently available for the production of proteins with human-like post-translational modificat…

The Kuhn-Tucker theorem in nondifferential form is a well-known classical optimality criterion for a convex programming problems which is true for a convex problem in the case when a Kuhn-Tucker vector exists. It is natural to extract two features connected w…
Morteza Kimiaei, Farzad Rahpeymaii
We present a new fixed point technique to solve a system of convex equations in several variables. Our approach is based on two powerful algorithmic ideas: operator-splitting and steepest descent direction. The quadratic convergence of the proposed approach i…

This paper studies a class of continuous-time two person zero-sum stochastic differential games characterized by linear It?’s differential equation with state-dependent noise and Markovian parameter jumps. Under the assumption of stochastic stabilizability, n…

Piyavskii’s algorithm maximizes a univariate function satisfying a Lipschitz condition. We propose a modified Piyavskii’s sequential algorithm which maximizes a univariate differentiable function f by iteratively constructing an upper bounding piece-wise conc…
Albert Iskhakov, Vladimir Pospelov, Sergey Skovpen
A method allowing a desirable matrix spectrum to be constructed as an alternative to the method using matrix transformation to the Frobenius form is stated. It can be applied to implement control algorithms for technical systems without executing the variable…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
