Let S denote the class of functions that are analytic, normalized and univalent in the open unit disk E = { z : | z | <1}. Subclasses of S are the class of starlike and convex functions denoted by S * and C respectively. A new subclass of analytic functions t…

The purpose of this paper is to present the theorical connection between the It ô stochastic calculus and the Financial Econometrics. This paper has two contributions. First, we give the backgrounds on how the stochastic calculus is used to model the rea…

The solution of a nonlinear diffusion equation is numerically investigated using the generalized Fourier transform method. This equation includes fractal dimensions and power-law dependence on the radial variable and on the diffusion function. The generalized…

A spectral difference method is applied to get numerical solutions for a fluid-lubricated herringbone grooved journal bearing with trapezoidal grooves by previous work of the authors. However, an inexpedience in which Fourier series of the film profile does n…

Unlike the traditional Laplace transform, the Sumudu transform of a function, when approximated as a power series, may be readily inverted using factorial-based coefficient diminution. This technique offers straightforward computational advantages for approxi…

The purpose of this study is to apply white noise process in measuring model adequacy targeted at confirming the assumption of independence. This ensures that no autocorrelation exists in any time series under consideration, and that the autoregressive integr…

In this manuscript, a proof for the age-old Riemann hypothesis is delivered, interpreting the Riemann Zeta function as an analytical signal, and using a signal analyzing affine model used in radar technology to match the warped Riemann Zeta function on the ti…

We have developed an energy balance equation for the universe. The two system parameters involved in the equation could be “fine-tuned” so that the predicted temperature histories all lead to what is observed in the present cosmic microwave background. We hav…

In this paper, LPT (largest processing time) algorithm is considered for scheduling jobs with similar sizes on three machines. The objective function is to minimize the maximum completion time of all machines. The worst case performance ratio of the LPT algor…

Self-assembling molecules are ubiquitous in nature, among which are proteins, nucleic acids (DNA and RNA), peptides and lipids. Recognizing the ability of biomolecules to self-assemble into various 3 D shapes at the nanoscale, researchers are mimicking the se…

Applied Mathematics (AM) is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancements in applied mathematics. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of applied mathema… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
