Finding that in the formula of expansion of a function into a series of wave-like functions the coefficients are its Fourier transforms, if existed, we deduce mathematically all the principles and hypothesis that illustrated physicists utilized to build quant…

This paper addresses the problem of the interpretation of the stochastic differential equations (SDE). Even if from a theoretical point of view, there are infinite ways of interpreting them, in practice only Stratonovich’s and It ô ’s interpretations an…

In this case study, we would like to illustrate the utility of characteristic functions, using an example of a sample statistic defined for samples from Cauchy distribution. The derivation of the corresponding asymptotic probability density function is based…
Jingkun Liu, Qi Fan
This paper presents an improved Randomized Circle Detection (RCD) algorithm with the characteristic of circularity to detect randomized circle in images with complex background, which is not based on the Hough Transform. The experimental results denote that t…

This paper proposes a stochastic dynamics model in which people who are endowed with different discount factors chose to buy the capital stock periodically with different periodicities and are exposed to randomness at arithmetic progression times. We prove th…

In this paper, we study the functions with values in ( β , p )-Banach spaces which can be approximated by a quadratic mapping with a given error.

By the distance or degree of vertices of the molecular graph, we can define graph invariant called topological indices. Which are used in chemical graph to describe the structures and predicting some physicochemical properties of chemical compound? In this pa…

In this paper we present and test a numerical method for computing eigenvalues of 4th order Sturm-Liouville (SL) differential operators on finite intervals with regular boundary conditions. This method is a 4th order shooting method based on Magnus expansions…
Qiuping Zheng, Dianchun Zheng
The two-dimensional and self-consistent fluid model of the SF 6 discharge was established based on the electron and ions continuity transfer equations coupled to Poisson’s equation, and also simultaneously considered the photoionization event, and then the fl…

Delay differential equations (DDEs), as well as neutral delay differential equations (NDDEs), are often used as a fundamental tool to model problems arising from various areas of sciences and engineering. However, NDDEs particularly the systems of these equat…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
