The links between low temperature and the incidence of disease have been studied by many researchers. What remains still unclear is the exact nature of the relation, especially the mechanism by which the change of weather effects on the onset of diseases. The…

In this paper, we propose a new second order numerical scheme for solving backward stochastic differential equations with jumps with the generator linearly depending on . And we theoretically prove that the convergence rates of them are of second order for so…

This paper presents derivation of a priori error estimates and convergence rates of finite element processes for boundary value problems (BVPs) described by self adjoint, non-self adjoint, and nonlinear differential operators. A posteriori error estimates are…

The motion of a lazy Pearson walker is studied with different probability (p) of jump in two and three dimensions. The probability of exit ( ) from a zone of radius is studied as a function of with different values of jump probability p. The exit probability…

This paper shows that the centered fractional derivatives introduced by Manuel Duarte Ortigueira in 2006 are useful in the description of optical solitons. It is shown that we can construct a fractional extension of the nonlinear Schr ö dinger (NLS) equa…

The aim of this paper is to study the notion of the gradient observability on a subregion w of the evolution domain W and also we consider the case where the subregion of interest is a boundary part of the system evolution domain for the class of semilinear h…

The evaluation of labor competences is an important activity for proper management of human resources. To assess labor competences, different techniques have been proposed, but these proposals represent invasive mechanisms so that its implementation affects t…

Despite the enormous progress in prevention and treatment, tuberculosis disease remains a leading cause of death worldwide and one of the major sources of concern is the drug resistant strain, MDR-TB (multidrug resistant tuberculosis) and XDR-TB (extensively…

A previous study proposed a mathematical model of A-type horizontal cells in the rabbit retina. This model, which was constructed based on the Hodgkin-Huxley model, was described by a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations. The model contained fi…

The present analysis demonstrates the thermal effect on vibrations of a symmetric, non-homoge- neous trapezoidal plate with parabolically varying thickness in both directions. The variation in Young’s modulus and mass density is the main cause for the occurre…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
