In this paper we prove Leray-Schauder and Furi-Pera types fixed point theorems for a class of multi-valued mappings with weakly sequentially closed graph. Our results improve and extend previous results for weakly sequentially closed maps and are very importa…

Applications of differential equations with retarded argument can be encountered in the theory of automatic control, in the theory of self-oscillatory systems, in the study of problems connected with combustion in rocket engines, in a number of problems in ec…

An attempt is made to investigate the some new properties of Laguerre transform in two variables [1].

In this paper, we give solvability conditions for three open problems of nonnegative inverse eigenvalues problem (NIEP) which were left hanging in the air up to seventy years. It will offer effective ways to judge an NIEP whether is solvable.

The present discussion deals with the study of an unsteady flow of a dusty fluid through an inclined channel under the influence of pulsatile pressure gradient along with the effect of a uniform magnetic field. The analytical solutions of the problem are obta…

The composite implicit iteration process introduced by Su and Li [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 320 (2006) 882-891] is modified. A strong convergence theorem for approximation of common fixed points of finite family of <i>k</i>-strictly asymptotically pseudo-contracti…

In this paper we are concerned with the integrability of the fifth Painlevé equation (<i>PV</i> ) from the point of view of the Hamiltonian dynamics. We prove that the Painlevé<i>V</i> equation (2) with parameters <i>k</i>∞=0,<i>k</i><su…

A vertex subversion strategy of a graph G=(V,E) is a set of vertices S V(G) whose closed neighborhood is deleted from G . The survival subgraph is denoted by G/S . We call S a cut-strategy of G if G/S is disconnected, or is a clique, or is φ . The vertex-neig…

Let <i>P</i>:=<i>P</i>(<i>t</i>) be a polynomial in Z[<i>X</i>]\{0,1} In this paper, we consider the number of polynomial solutions of Diophantine equation <i>E</i>:<i>X</i>2–(<i>P</i>2–<i>P</i>)<i>Y</i>2–(4<i>P</i>2</sup…

In this paper, a characterization of tightly properly efficient solutions of set-valued optimization problem is obtained. The concept of the well-posedness for a special scalar problem is linked with the tightly properly efficient solutions of set-valued opti…
