Circuits and Systems (CS) is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancements in circuits and systems. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of circuits and…
Waleed Saad, Nawal El-Fishawy, Sayed El-Rabaie, Mona Shokair
The Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) technique has recently received considerable attention for wireless networks. Despite its advantages, it has a major drawback of its high Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) value which affects the system e…
A. K. Al-Shaikhli, H. Fatima, K. Omar, A. Fadhil, J. Lina
The following article has been retracted due to the investigation of complaints received against it. The Editorial Board found that substantial portions of the text came from other published papers. The scientific community takes a very strong view on this ma…
Fatemeh Talebi, Hassan Ghafoorifard, Samad Sheikhaei, Sajjad Shieh Ali Saleh
A low power low phase noise frequency synthesizer with subharmonic injection locking is proposed for ZigBee applications. The PLL is based on a ring VCO to decrease area and production cost. In order to improve phase noise performance, a high frequency inject…
Youngjung Ahn, Yongsuk Lee, Gyungho Lee
This paper proposes a power and time efficient scheme for designing IP lookup tables. The proposed scheme uses partitioned Ternary Content Addressable Memories (TCAMs) that store IP lookup tables. The proposed scheme enables O(1) time penalty for updating an…
Xinwei Niu, Jeffrey Fan
Nowadays, digital camera based remote controllers are widely used in people’s daily lives. It is known that the edge detection process plays an essential role in remote controlled applications. In this paper, a system verification platform of hardware optimiz…
Somchai Srisakultiew, Montree Siripruchyanun
This paper presents a synthesis of current-mode PI, PD and PID controllers employing current controlled current differential buffer amplifiers (CCCDBAs). The features of these controllers are that: the output parameters can be electronically/independently con…
Supawat Lawanwisut, Montree Siripruchyanun, Winai Jaikla
This article presents an active-only current-mode universal biquad filter performing three standard functions: low-pass, high-pass and band-pass function, which can be readily modified to achieve the rest functions (band-stop and all-pass). The circuit princi…
Omnia S. Ahmed, Mohamed F. Abu-Elyazeed, Mohamed B. Abdelhalim, Hassanein H. Amer, Ahmed H. Madian
In this research, a fast methodology to calculate the exact value of the average dynamic power consumption for CMOS combinational logic circuits is developed. The delay model used is the unit-delay model where all gates have the same propagation delay. The ma…
Hassan Jassim Motlak
This paper presents a different approach of Intermediate Frequency (IF) amplifier using 0.18 μm MIETEC technology channel length of MOSFET Darlington transistors. In contrast to Bipolar conventional Darlingtonpair, a MOSFET Darlington configuration is employe…
Data Ram Bhaskar, Dinesh Prasad, Kanhaiya Lal Pushkar
Recently, voltage differencing-differential input buffered amplifiers (VD-DIBA)-based electronically controllable sinusoidal oscillator has been presented that it does not have the capability of complete independence of frequency of oscillation (FO) and condi…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
