JEMAA is a professional journal in the field of electromagnetic analysis, testing and application. The goal of this journal is to provide an international platform for engineers and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the field of electromagnetics. It i…
Antônio Flavio Licarião Nogueira, Rafael Kingeski
This review examines the role of simulation-based virtual laboratories in the teaching of electrical machines and electromagnetics, with particular attention to MATLAB and finite element analysis tools. Three guiding questions frame the discussion: 1) What st…

To help address global warming, various power generation methods that do not release carbon dioxide have been established, including electrostatic power generation. A wide variety of electrostatic generators have been proposed for many centuries; however, the…
David Yapele, Andre Youmssi, Andre Boussaibo, Golam Guidkaya, Jean Claude Kamgang
This paper presents a comprehensive multi-method comparative study on the influence of single-layer and double-layer winding configurations on the static performance of three-phase squirrel-cage induction machines. By integrating high-fidelity finite element…
Volodymyr Grimalsky, Jesus Escobedo-Alatorre, Yuriy Rapoport, Anatoliy Kotsarenko
Resonant linear and nonlinear properties in terahertz range of 2D materials graphene and silicene placed into a bias magnetic field are investigated theoretically on the base of the quasi-classical kinetic theory. When the electromagnetic frequency is close t…
Giancarlo Scalera
This work identifies the branch point, which was never explicit in EM treatises, from which came the choice of abandoning the Galilean transformations in favor of the Lorentz covariance, a path that originated the various relativistic theories. The need arisi…
Dingamadji Hilaire Belemdara, Jérôme Mbaïnaïbeye
This paper presents the work carried out to evaluate the dynamic performance of the Hybrid Variable Reluctance Motor (HVRM). The fourth-order Runge-Kutta integration algorithm was employed to solve the equations of the dynamic model, in conjunction with the t…
Faisal Aldhubaib
This paper investigates the ability of the depolarization degree, derived from the characteristic polarization states at the resonant frequency set, to identify corner or swept, i.e. dihedral, changes in same-class targets by a metallic wire example. A well-e…
Salama Abdelhady, Mohamed S. Abdelhady
Innovative definitions of the electric and magnetic diffusivities through conducting mediums and innovative diffusion equations of the electric charges and magnetic flux are verified in this article. Such innovations depend on the analogy of the governing law…

In the current practical science, the accuracy in the formability of metal alloys being the goal when using electromagnetic forming (EMF) technology, which is a high-speed processing technology that uses Lorentz forces to achieve plastic deformation of sheet…
Victor-O. de Haan, Riccardo Scottini
The method using pulsed eddy currents to determine the thickness of a conduction plate is extended to enable the simultaneous measurement of the plate thickness and material properties. For optimal performance, a probe must be designed depending on the thickn…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
