This paper presents the evaluation of the capacitance of an isolated elliptical plate and two parallel elliptical plates. Integral equations are formed by relating the previously unknown charges on the elliptical plates and the potential on the metallic plate…

The circular sector patch antenna is studied in C-band (4 GHz - 8 GHz). In this paper, we present steps of designing the circular sector antenna then a comparison with a rectangular antenna in literature. High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) software is…

In this paper, a locally non-orthogonal overlapping Yee (OY) FDTD method is proposed in order to accurately calculates the optical force on dielectric and dispersive nanoparticles. It extends our previous work to geometries with sharp corners and dispersive m…

After researching carefully the well known M. Planck’s law of the black-body radiation, the quantum theory of field and the Einstein’s postulates about interaction of the photon with the atoms, there are a lot of unclear questions about photon and its interac…

The proximity effect is very significant to investigate transient peak voltages and EMC related problems of a conductor system. In this paper, effect of energized single conductor in close proximity of an Al plate when an Al plate is used as return path is in…

The effects of microwave energy and conventional convective heating on bovine meat were studied in the mid-infrared region by FTIR spectroscopy, to highlight the differences between the two cooking methods. Samples of 100 g of bovine breast meat were cooked u…

We review the formulation of graphene’s massless Dirac equation, under the chiral electromagnetism approach, hopefully demystifying the material’s unusual chiral, relativistic, effective theory. In Dirac’s theory, many authors replace the speed of light by th…

In this paper, we present a design of a non-radiative dielectric waveguide band pass filter based on hybrid architecture of micro-strip line and non-radiative dielectric waveguide. The simulation with high frequency structure simulator (HFSS) three dimensiona…
Dalia M. Elsheakh, Esmat A. Abdallah
Different feeding techniques of microstrip patch antennas with different spiral defected ground structures are presented in this paper. The investigated structures illustrate some merits in designing multi-electromagnetic band-gap structures by adjusting the…
Denis Prémel
A great number of semi-analytical models, notably the representation of electromagnetic fields by integral equations are based on the second order vector potential (SOVP) formalism which introduces two scalar potentials in order to obtain analytical expressio…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
