Recently, many optimal designs for axial flux permanent magnet (AFPM) motors were performed based on finite- element (FE) analysis. Most of the models are based on reduction of 3D problem to 2D problem which is not accurate for design aspects. This paper desc…

Axial flux hysteresis motor (AFHM) is self-starting synchronous motor that uses the hysteresis characteristics of magnetic materials. It is known that the magnetic characteristics of hysteresis motor could be easily affected by air gap and structure dimension…
Yaser Soliman Qudaih, Takashi Hiyama
The impact of power fluctuation caused by renewable sources is highly negative. This article discusses the idea of an energy capacitor system (ECS) which regulates the power balance in a distribution system based on Multi-Agent System (MAS). Energy Capacitor…

Within the frames of semiclassical approach, intra-atomic electric field potentials are parameterized in form of radial step-like functions. Corresponding parameters for 80 chemical elements are tabulated by fitting of the semiclassical energy levels of atomi…
Jean-Francois D. Essiben, Eric R. Hedin, Yong S. Joe
The radiation characteristics of waveguide antennas located on the surface of a circular cylinder are investigated theoretically and numerically. A reactive impedance structure is used to provide reduced coupling between two antennas on the surface of a cylin…
Qianqian Zhang, Yan Wang, Tianming Yin
Based on the development demand of electric vehicles, this paper studies the communication network in electric vehicles based on CAN bus after analyzing the LCD (liquid crystal display) in electric vehicles and the status quo of research and development trend…

This paper presents a new analysis method for locating the focus and estimating the size of the focus of the backscatter light of a Lidar system. The formula for calculating the uncertainty of the location of the focus of backscatter light of a Lidar system i…
Mingjun Li, Xinrong Zhang, Hiroshi Yamaguchi
This paper presents the results of exact solutions and numerical simulations of strongly-conductive and weakly-conductive magnetic fluid flows. The equations of magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flows with different conductivity coefficients, which are independent of…

The electromagnetic linear momentum and the energy balance in an infinite solenoid with a time-dependant current are examined. We show that the electromagnetic linear momentum density and its associated force density are balanced by the hidden momentum densit…
Salama Abdel- Hady
This paper introduces an energy-analysis of the flow of electrical charges and magnetic flux in addition to the flow of heat into a thermodynamic system. The analysis depends on the results of a held experiment on a magnet that attracted iron balls and a Fara…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
