JEMAA is a professional journal in the field of electromagnetic analysis, testing and application. The goal of this journal is to provide an international platform for engineers and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the field of electromagnetics. It i…
Wei Song, Yang Hao
In this paper, a novel approach is introduced towards an efficient Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) algorithm by incorporating the Alternating Direction Implicit (ADI) technique to the Nonorthogonal FDTD (NFDTD) method. This scheme can be regarded as an e…

An absorbing material–conductor laminate is widely used for electromagnetic compatibility of electronic circuits at microwave frequencies. Such a laminate when properly designed will exhibit good results in terms of electromagnetic interference and compatibil…
Abbas Shiri, Davoud E. Moghadam, Mohammad R. A. Pahlavani, Abbas Shoulaie
This paper elaborates on the magnetic forces between current carrying planar spiral coils. Direct and concentric rings methods are employed in order to calculate the magnetic force between these coils. The results obtained by two calculation methods show the…
Vadugapalayam P. Sakthivel, Ramachandran Bhuvaneswari, Srikrishna Subramanian
A Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) based design of three-phase induction motors are proposed. The induction motor design is treated as a non-linear and multivariable constrained optimization problem. The annual material cost and the total annual cost of the…

This study describes thermal behavior of magnetic lubricant oil under electromagnetic induction. Experimental set up include oil pump, oil tank, induction heating unit, and heat exchanger. It is a closed loop system where the oil pump circulates oil through o…
Aleksey Zakharenko
This theoretical work provides with results of characteristics calculation of the ultrasonic surface Zakharenko waves (USZWs) existing in piezomagnetic cubic monocrystals of class m3m that can be readily used for non-destructive testing. The piezomagnetic wav…
Isidor Kokalari
Nowadays, the increasing use of electric equipments (mobile phones, PC-s, home appliances, radio-TV, etc.), apart of their benefit, has raised the concern of possible health danger when it comes to non ionizing electromagnetic fields they emit. This paper is…
Yingle Li, Jin Li, Mingjun Wang, Qunfeng Dong
The analytical expressions of electric fields inside and outside a magnetized cold plasma sphere are presented by reforming the spherical electromagnetic parameter based on the scales transformation of electromagnetic theory. The obtained results are in good…
Shiyou Yang, Lin Yang, Qiang Zhou
This paper studies the propellant and levitation forces of a prototype maglev system where the propellant forces are provided by a linear motor system. For this purpose, the mathematical model and method using finite element method coupled to external circuit…
Lufa Shen, Zihua Wang
A four-layer slab waveguide including left-handed material is investigated numerically in this paper. Considering left-handed material dispersion, we find eight TE guided modes as frequency from 4 GHz to 6 GHz. The fundamental mode can exist, and its dispersi…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
